I’m watching this bc there’s literally nothing else good on (I’m waiting for Royal Nemesis this weekend) I’m really surprised how pedestrian the writing is, esp considering the star power. Let alone no chemistry and weird acting by IU. ML is just pretty much phlegmatic the whole time. Whenever I see a drama and think “I could have written this,” it’s NOT a good sign. With an 8.5 rating I thought was going to be good.
Its a question of different values. Your point of view is of somebody of the present, that doesn't reflect the…
Charles walked her down the aisle but was her own refusal to integrate and accept the royal protocol as well as her own nasty behavior that sunk their boat.
Great first episode! I’m a little tired of 6-10 episode dramas where everything happens super quick and the…
Yes I’m so tired of shy retiring subservient FLs, this one can hold her own. And the ML won’t let himself be trampled on either which is also refreshing
Jang Seung Jo gets finer with age I love his eye wrinkles and that he hasn't touched them or removed them :)
Funny, I noticed that too and loved the wrinkles and then I thought, hope he doesn’t freak out seeing it. We’re so brainwashed (thx medical profession) about wrinkles, it’s v annoying. I actually found his face v reassuring.
This is excellent. It grabbed me from the start and it’s been a longggg time since that’s happened w a current kdrama, I’ve dropped so many this year, even highly anyicipated ones w good casts. I started switching to C dramas but this one has me enthused again about the future of Kdramas, I was getting worried lol.
I can’t remember the last time I actually rewound a scene in a Kdrama and w Royal Nemisis, I rewound AND laughed, several times. The two leads are good actors (contrary to what some think) and have great chemistry.
I’m bummed at all the cultural references I’m missing not being Korean or speaking it, bc just the ones I’m understanding are so clever.
The writing is witty and the actors have chemistry and are well cast. ML asst & grandpa are great and the other chaebol being interviewed shows promise. I can’t wait until tomorrow’s next episode.
when the ex started pawing the FL outside the hospital and she let him....I'm done, I'm over passive FLs who have zero boundaries with their exes. "You dumped me, get away." But instead she walks with him and lets him taunt her. Seriously? Over and out. And I actually enjoyed Yakuza Boss Beloved, as bad as that one was haha.
Unwatchable. Most idiotic, immature FL I've seen in a long while. Like nails scraping slowly down a blackboard…
I find it v difficult to believe his character would be interested in her. She’s cute and quirky but as a romantic lead, not so much, especially for him. I kept waiting for her to show some capabilities as a lawyer.
