Samsung phones sold in Korea must not have silent / “do not disturb” mode if ML resorted to changing his telephone…
Or simply--Block? nothing in this drama makes sense. She wears heels to visit farm country (are the writers going for a laugh here? Pretty low hanging fruit). She walks toward a farm then asks the ML who is driving toward the farm "are you following me?" when he's obviously driving to the farm. (I was mentally saying "Please do not say 'are you following me' and then she said it.)
If she thinks he's following her, she should step aside to see if he continues. Instead, he asks her to step aside and she's all offended despite accusing him of following her. I really wanted to like this bc of male lead, sounds like some people think it's cute and lighthearted, more power to them.
So first she acts like a shrew to a random farmer when she's trying to meet a random farmer. Then we see she can't even back up her fancy little sports car without landing in a ditch. Then she inexplicably glares at the farmer as she trounces off in her little mini skirt. This is supposed to be a super competent businesswoman? Honestly I want to keep watching bc ML was so good in Business Proposal. Does the Korean entertainment industry ever use focus groups? They should have hired one to go over the script before filming it. These scenes could have been a lot cuter and more subtle. She goes zero to 50 with no build up from first episode, it comes out of nowhere and it's way overdone. She could have flirted w him, then deliberately landed in the ditch and acted all helpless to get him to tell her where the mushroom farm was, or any number of better ways to introduce these two. Maybe the good writer quit or something.
Overall, SK was very enjoyable. (I do agree w many comments here however.) I liked the fact that there was no love triangle (mainly bc everyone else was dead lol). However if Kdrama writers read these comments, I would like to ask why there are so few normal happy endings in Kdramas. ML gives FL a freaking ring (PPL!) And she’s all “I have to go abroad and study art therapy.” Honestly what is so hard about letting these two lost souls shack up together and she can cook him stews and they can try to live in the present? Does Korea not have any schools teaching art therapy? Does FL speak English or German? Japanese? Where is she going to go “abroad”? WTH. So many Kdramas have leads who have a slow (or not) burn, obviously love each other and then at the end, bye! (Idol is one but I can barely even think of any where the leads end up together). So…just a suggestion. I’ve been watching more Cdramas lately and this is one of the many reasons why.
One of my favorite scenes so far in the series has to be the interrogation scene between seol-ah and woo-seok.…
I think there are some kissing scenes later bc in some bts stuff she (jokingly I think haha) says how he suction-cupped her face in the kiss scenes lol
