Slow burn drama and lots of laughs

Soo young the queen you are. She is so funny every line she said made me laugh. The f*** you scene was GOLD. The ML and FL relationship progress legit made me break into a small shy ass smile. Idk about yall but I think they have chemistry. I might be the only but I thought the secretary of the SFL and her (step bro?) had something going on 😂. But I was wrong very wrong. The communication between ML and FL is what all relationships should strive to do and go for. When ML gets upset or angry idk why but I can feel it thru the screen. Nah but what’s wrong with that father?! Bro sees his kids as his little spawnlings to control and tell them what they should do. LIVING UR DREAM THRU UR CHILD IS SOOOO icky. Now this drama is a 6.5 for me cause I genuinely wouldn’t want to watch it again because idk why it’s just a drama I was curious on and it was good I won’t regret watching it at all! And I was also curious about ML because I thought he only went for roles that are psychotic. He did well here. This drama isn’t a reach for me that isn’t a bad thing though it’s just I don’t fully love this drama but I’d put in the category of more than decent it was lovey dovey cute teddy bear kinda feels. But if you’ve seen my other reviews I am not that FOND of romantic dramas they aren’t my thing but this was pretty good cause it wasn’t all romance based.

Little to no plot whatsoever

No plot so dragged on. Lacklustre. No story line that can get me hooked. The second lead couple (Gu ran and Jiang Jia) was better for me than the first.. if u want a show with drama lore misunderstandings click off and don’t watch this. I watched this because every time I get recommendations of Chinese drama this has to be in someone’s list. If u just want something to keep you afloat with tackling your brain or thinking to much be my guest and watch this show. But yes for this has no replay value at all. The two brother Zhang Lurang and Zhang Li should’ve gotten deeper lore. It was super cute when they re bonded. Should’ve given deeper family lore. The scene where Zhang Lu rang gives a lollipop and the forgotten admission ticket to his brother was so so cute. But yes such a forgettable series. Dropped xoxo.

Lacklustre

I don’t even remember watching this but I remember because it was the first drama I have watched that had Kentaro sakaguchi. I knew the FL from call me chihiro.
Anyways I think I dropped this drama cause the chemistry between FL and ML (with the heart transplant) is so off. She had more chemistry with MLher fiancée. I don’t really drop a drama if the chemistry is off between the actors but come on this is a romance drama. I felt so tragically bad for his (ML heart transplant). Like okay now he is developing feels for FL due to past memories but it felt so hurtful to see that. I feel like maybe remove the fact that he is still married or maybe let her be a recent ex wife he divorced. Doing all that while still married is kinda a crazy script. I don’t know like could’ve also went with that she left him before and then she met him again and saw that he was more upbeat and outgoing so she went to pursue him again. And the fact that he knows how to play the piano without any previous knowledge about that is crazy work bro. Like maybe just make share the previous ML traits and personality but talent too… also they keep talking about coffee ahh. I think I would’ve ignored some of this if it wasn’t for the lack of chemistry between the actors like both of them yk like it’s not that one is not giving they both aren’t.
