The food being displayed looked actually quite delicious not gonna lie. I really want go try making one of those dishes. When i see kang han-na i know she is hoing to eat her role up but unfortunately we didnt get to see her true true villian style. She really does well in these types of dramas. I first saw her in scarlet heart with IU. Am i the only one who whenever ML and FL appear on screen i remember the 10 year age gap between these actors?? Cook yeon and gil geum and such a cute friendship. The scene where a historical document is revealed to him and he goes mad is actually so good and the grandma telling him his mother wanted him to be a sage king not a tyrant which in turn cook yeon changed the course of history (u see what i did there)... why was that ming emperor so so annoying?! Tang bailong the man you are. The scene where cook yeon changes how the food looks so the other male cook of the ming gets to try really it warmed my heart.

The ending do the people who came back from joseon dynasty remember her or only the king himself? I think they shouldve just kept the king only not all of them. I love hwo the dude who first nitpicked on her food continued to do it also in another timeline. And also how the king just randomly told him in modern time "do u wish to be striked down by a sword" ;). The story felt weak but yk just grab some popcorn put it on 1.25x speed or more and let it run. It didnt let me on the edge of my seat but the food and the cute moments were good asf.

A mildly un(merry) disappointing watch

Yoo meri has two partners of the same name which is kim wooju. We get introduced first to kim wooju 🚩 who cheats on her. He divorces her and during the time he goes to the divorce court, on the same day he goes to meet his lover... The audacity. The shamelessness throughout the series.

This is why its called disappointMENt. Men never cease to disappoint you. Kim wooju 🚩after getting dumped by his new lover, he goes back to yoo meri and asks her to get back together. Later on in the show yoo meri connects with good kim wooju. Though kim wooju 🚩ego is so fragile he holds a press conference to expose them, even prapared a slideshow. The loser energy is unreal and unfathomable. After he kept trespassing her villa she should've filed a restraining order. The shows tried to give him a semi redemption arc in the ending but really the man is a loser.

Moving on to the evil uncle. I will not be saying alot of things on this but just a couple of things. In episode 10 or 11 good kim wooju it is revealed to him that his uncle mightve played a part in his parents death and then they talk about statute of limitations... what even is the concept of this. Does a crime have a due date to be submitted in order for justice to prevail 😭 🙏. People should go behind the bar for their crimes even if it was very long ago 😞. Another thing i wanted to point out is being divorced a taboo topic in korea?? Like genuinely acting as if its a crime... Overall the show has a okayish storyline and i watched this since i am interested in watching jung somin work even though i have no strong preference for romance hence the rating i always tell myself its good to go out of my comfort zone. Is this a must recommend to people...NOPE.

Park bo young is acting 2 roles which i applaud her for except why when she is miji she acts babyish and has a kid voice even as adult. Guys why is it so clear when the ML were kpop idols i dont know but there is something that radiates of them that makes me go “this actor must’ve been a kpop idol”. The drama was like a slow burn in the middle part of the episodes then picked up its pace in the episodes 9-12 but still it was a drag which is so shocking for me cause i fell in love with park bo young in daily dose of sunshine it literally changed the trajectory of my life and how i view mental illness which is still stigmatised in so many parts of the world. This a slice of life kdrama and i get why the age group of people watching this drama is 20-30 👀 you cannot be recommending this to a teenager. I dont know how to feel about the mom not being able to differentiate between the twins… there must be something you know like personality; one is more bubbly and caring than the other but STILL. Mi-rae did not need a romantic interest whatsoever. The part where the coworker looks like their dad i had to pause the show because of that subtle plot twist although am i the only who always wonders about people falling in love with someone who looks like their parents it feels so icky to me. This must be a male thing lol.

High school setting... again. Does college just not exist in the world of k-drama?? ML DEFINITELY does not pass as a HS student 😭🙏🙏. Ji Ho passes though.

Some comedic elements were there especially with FL and bong-su. FL interacting with ghosts around people who cannot see ghosts is pretty funny to me. And another thing i wanted to point out is that it was harder to remove bong-su who was tethered to gyeon-u BUT the THE GRIM REAPER just a couple of rites and amulets and he is gone... Bong-su had more flavor than gyeon-u, gyeon-u whole personality is seong a, seong a, andddddd SEONG A...

yeonhwa still being there is sooo no words tbh. They kept dragging the show ep 10-12. Wrap it up to ep 8 and this couldve been a 7.5 rating. And the drama has no OST soooo weird lol. But we see seong-a ep 11 and ep 12 😮 sooo gorgeous.

Fantasy k-trauma

This show feels like a taxi driver x move to heaven x judge from hell crossover type of vibes. My favorite storylines were the nurse and the hankuk university one. Such a clever way to display this particular job of being a labor attorney and showing us workplace harassment bullying negligence etc. This is the second show i have watched that had the ML in it and he dis so well. A bit of romance sprinkled here and there and it was an adequate amount too. Tang Joon-Sang did super super well i also liked his role in Move to heaven. We need a S2. Bring it on!!!! And also maybe in S2 ML starts having a labor law firm that would so cool!

Not one day goes by where everything smooth and sound and bubbles and daisies. You genuinely would never get bored in such a school.

1) kept watching for hye in and jen na progress in friendship
2) for yeri my queen
3) the dude who acted cha jinwook has an uncanny resemblance to cha eunwoo!
4) hye in looked different in S2
5) park woojin shouldve faced something as well fuck his ass.
6) that gf of woojin if she knew her bf was cheating why is she stilling clinging to him and getting jealous when he hangs out with other girls?
7) hae in dying was so uncalled for i wish she got her revenge see it while was alive she deserves better
8) the Change in budget and director was clear as day in S2 and did yall notice the weird ass cringe effects they would do when hae in had a breakdown that scene with woojin made me pause and sigh.

couldn’t put it down literally

It says I gave a rating of 8.5. This is actually and 8.79 for me. This is the first park shin hye show I have watched OMG I LOVE HER. She is now in my top 5 actresses ever. Multiple scenes I laughed don’t remember the last time I have laughed at show cause I’ve been very stressed. So so wowzers but it did get a bit idk lacklustre ep 10 and beyond. That dude doing dismemberment to assemble a new human being to put the kylum in sounds so disturbing. The angel that helped kang bit na. I LOVE HER TOO. Second hand man of kang bit na is such a mood. I got kind of upset when ML had a fight with kang bit na and threw I think ashes that can disable her powers I was like BRO! Idk if like in real life there was a judge who releases criminals then teaches them the lesson of what they did to the person by doing it back to them i would be so over the moon for it but people have their opinions. Ye chan mother broke my heart. That serial killer dude really be yapping about putting people out of their miserableness because they are in poverty…WHO IS YOU!!!!🙄😒 such good storyline. Park shin hye you’re literally such a queen. S2 WHEN?! I am gonna tune in from now on to park shin hye dramas. Slay queen.

Has a grip on you but can be a bit lacklustre

I thought the plot twist would be that the FL has some type of mental illness where she has an alter ego that commits these murders but she well has no idea. The other things I was fully convinced was that the captain of the station was the murderer because the handkerchief thing I mean I think it’s illegal to tamper with evidence in a crime scene. This profiling job so fr like these people are hella observant like is there a course they teach in the police academy to make these people notice things and people’s ulterior motives???? I am happy it didn’t have any romance in it.

This is the friendship i want in my life without a man in the middle ofc (i dont fight over men LOL). This is real friendship. I didnt want their friendship to end over a man… (still on ep 10). Seo jong hee not only is in a love triangle but also being triple threatened 😟. The dude from cheongah bus coming for her and yeong rye, her adoptive mom might be a bad influence, her brother… omg miss girl. Lets go back to their friendship after ep.6 i think the show started showing elements of jealousy (Not envy!) from seo jong hee side.. i was like NO! PLEASE NO! mind you i am typing this after i finished ep 10 i dont want a friendship break up guys! Friendship break up hurt way way more than a relationship break up :c.

Going back to the time of cheongah bus whats been happening with kwon hae ja the one who ended up in a horrific workplace accident? I still cannot believe some companies try to dodge responsibility even if what happened was this horrific like not even an ounce of guilt?! Tbh am i the only one who saw the clip before it was revealed that she was the one in the accident i almost thought it was koh yeong rye!!!!

We see kwon hae ja in the audience during the miss korea pageant show 👏.The miss korea pageant stage literally left me on the edge of my seat like why tf is that stupid personnel manager thinking she ruined his life? He ruined it himself… and then when he stabs yeong hye and the camera pans out there is literally someone still taking pictures of whats happening while she fights for her life on the floor 🤓 (I HOPE SOMEBODY ELSE NOTICED!!!!

Ep 12 many comments said this and i fully agree. The beach scene where jong hee was thirdwheeling the ML and FL was so so painfully awkward…

Lighthearted Easy watch

Why does FL remind me so much of park bo young in certain angles like genuinely also gives park bo young aura?! And whats wrong with FL friend who keeps gives her weird backhanded compliments like “oh why is someone so amazing mixed in with ordinary people” LIKE GIRL HUH?! Yk while watching kdramas i never got the fascination with having to get a guy who isn’t interested in you even vise versa . Miss purple uniform clearly sees that red finger isnt interested in her..she keeps pursuing him even tries to fake befriend baby blue finger… FOR A GUY?! Oh and i agree with baby blue finger when red fingers told her “you’re different from other girls i know” BECAUSE YAH that does sound like an insult like ahhhhh (cue jenna ortega scream).


I kind of relate in some ways to how FL feels about her mom. It hits home. Anyways what are these hostile mom meeting that i see all the time in kdrama like the moms in school are hanging out with eachother but also giving shade to other moms 😵?

Bong su and song u dol cute friendship and song u dol knows how to act, the kid knows how to act he is going places.


But i dont think i am the primary target audience. I dont think this has any rewatch value for me maybe cause i am already past being an hs student but if u showed me this as a hs student i would eat up.

Felt like a video game

This should be a video game would be dope. Storyline felt a bit lacklustre since it is 20 min per episode. I think the fight scene with that crime syndicate person was pretty sick tbh. As previosuly said it did feel a bit too rushed. I although thought that crime syndicate person had some type of superpower strength cause how could ML fly all the way just from a kick..... if they do create a part 3 please dont rush it take your time, this has so much great potential. The actors did great. I didnt get why they put some romance i mean its really not needed. Overall not a bad watch filled my time but it got no rewatch value.

Not my cup of tea

Of course the first thing I am going to address is the kiss scenes where the FL doesn’t do it and it cuts to another thing like trees or sumn like that. I don’t know but o don’t unusually look forward to kiss scenes or whatever but this was too obvious not to notice. I think FL can consider not to choose such roles . I see the chemistry is there. Since I only reached Ep 18 I have no idea why ML sperm count (?) was mentioned? The time skip between her graduating then college was off point. Should’ve created some tension and rivalry with Jiang Yu and ML . Maybe cause I like tension but that’s just me. ML’s mother always this actress eats her role up she was in hidden love and she left an impression on me more than the ML and FL. My point is maybe I don’t like romantic youth tv drama. Like sure I did crack a smile but it isn’t something I would rewatch or even consider in my top best C-drama.
