ML actually decent for her because he actually loves her and he also tries to rebel against his mother for her, the bad thing he does is he chooses revenge more important than being happy with her but at least he not dragging her down when he chooses to take revenge.

In some aspects she is bad but in some aspects, she is a good mother. her intention is good she is not greedy for money or making her son become a prosecutor to flaunt left and right. She wants her son to not be powerless but the way she does it is not the best. she acts tough to punish her son but is also sad and treats his external wound.

so the title The Good Bad Mother fits better in my opinion.

rating in MDL sometimes or maybe most of the time did not reflect the real rate of the drama itself most of the time the rating is good enough as an indicator. some dramas have low ratings even though they have good stories because of scandals of the actor etc. and some dramas get very high because of their popularity. but for this drama if this is not a popular/viral drama they probably still got a solid 8 in the rating.

for me, 8.9 is more than enough for a drama to be worth trying if I like the premise.

for me, this has a good romance, sometimes I hope other dramas have it. they didn't have a lot of screen time but their love is wonderful. if you like fate love, and sacrifice you maybe like it.

yeah, I agree being satisfied doesn't mean she has to die. in this drama we see she sometimes has blurred vision, she hurts so much that needs a painkiller, and also faints. she almost gave up more than one but eventually, she overcame it. after all her struggles there is no way it is a wrong diagnostic or something similar because that seems to be forced.

there is a possibility a new drug is on trial and she join in it but I bet that will be a long and painful fight against cancer. She has been a warrior for a long time and her to make her fight again against cancer have pros and cons, as you know cancer cure like chemo is painful and will take months or maybe years to cure and some cancer have a high probability of recurrence when its already on late stage.

right now she is in a happy state her son become capable, and she has a grandson and granddaughter. She is dead and for me, that is like finally, she fell at ease, all her burden and regret is gone so now she can finally rest in peace.

for me her death is meaningful and the real conclusion of his life's journey. her life was not smooth many unexpected things happened from losing her parents and family as a teenager(maybe), losing her husband when pregnant, and knowing she dying when her son needed other people, and so on but now finally her journey come to an end she gone in the most peaceful ways, in her sleep after all her worry gone( her son)

thank god this is not an American series. friend with the same range of age becoming your stepfather is too much tbh. I don't mind an age gap like in the drama "Witch Romance" but together with your friend's son is big NO and I hope this drama did not make them together.

I beg to differ, for me the mother has a satisfying exit. She wants her son to be people who has power so she chooses to be a strict parent even though her heart hurts so much. She dies with content and goes without any worry or regret because not only did her son become capable he also made people who killed her husband pay for their crime, not only that her son not live alone, but he is together with someone he really loves and have family on his own.

maybe long drama is not your cup of tea because compare to other morning drama/long drama this is one of the best.

I like that this drama not only has romance or an adult focus but the children also have their own arc. this aspect makes 50 episodes not that long but also makes it relevant to the main couple until the ending.

I do not support them but I see where they coming from. I think we all agree that there are good and also bad people. when straight male/woman is evil or heroes almost all of them (journalists/media) do not associate them with their sexual orientation( green goblin from Spiderman, joker from Batman all of them are straight male but we didn't care about their sexual orientation). in mainstream or media people being straight is the same as paper get wet when the water being poured on it, there is nothing special about it.

I didn't want acceptance or entitlements but I understand why some of them are not happy about the killer being gay.

Being different is not easy so there is no need for mainstream media to show only bad signs who probably not even true. some or maybe most of them just want to be left alone, so if mainstream media make the only people in their community/circle as bad people of course they will be upset. it's the same for others too if the only or all police/doctors/ poor/lawyers/parents in their drama/movie is an abuser, greedy, killers, etc. it's understandable if some of the people in their community upset about it.

I watched this a long time ago so I don't remember clearly. I understand where you coming and it's my fault for treating the original couple with married logic. my viewpoint is in marriage if you are okay with your spouse (not fighting, upset every day, or any abuse) it doesn't seem right to separate from your spouse just to be with someone you love more.

in my opinion, love is needed in marriage but it's not the only important part. so the idea married couple separated because love someone more doesn't seem right to me.

It's better if there is no gay in the drama if the only gay will are bad people. I know that he is falling in love with ML makes more sense but it needs to be balanced out by making another good character a guy/lesbian. this will change the impression from that gay guy is bad people to that man is bad people. PS : I'm not queer
