Call me basic but this show is devilishly good fun. Boston's wicked gleam, Raffy's constant glaring, and Dean's sassiness have me giggling in my seat. I am always expecting some new twist to come around the corner and I love that!

Mix in his sl*t boy era. I already know there is going to be angst, heartache, betrayal etc in my future when "Only Friends" comes back! The toxic mess I need to brace myself for but LOVE at the same time!

Whilst GMMTV seems incapable (or just don't want to) reproduce the "Not Me" quality of production that outstanding actors like First and Khao absolutely deserve, I adore these guys and I love cats so found the first episode really sweet. The way both guys convey such emotion through their eyes...they really are THE standard.

So true (they made a drama at Namjoon level!) and then gave up, thought, we aren't going to beat that, so why try????

Never too late to discover this masterpiece

'Not Me' was mentioned in a video last night and it reminded me what an absolute MASTERPIECE this was. Where did GMMTV go so horribly wrong? How have they wasted the unbelievable talent that shone in this iconic series? Gun, First, Gawin, Off....I could go on, but true fans know. This show was not a BL. It was a drama. A psychological mystery. A love story. It was everything.

Perhaps I am focusing on all the wrong details, but who looked after Sosay whilst Tam was overseas? Especially as he seemed to come to Australia 🇦🇺 for a few years.

As for Mix's cameo as a vet - delightful! So lovely given it's his other IRL "identity"

I feel perhaps the network may have said he needed to go in order for Phi to progress. Definitely feels like it was a "if I love him I have to walk away for his benefit" kind of situation

I thought Gawin was charming in BMF...vulnerable, loving, gave it all. I loved that show. One of the best GMMTV has served up in the past two years

I am also thinking about it as the last two years of GMMTV have made me cautious about shows that start great and then fall off a cliff. But to be honest, I have missed hanging out each week for "the next episode" and given these two are part of the OGs of BL, it would be worth the risk 😭❤️

Call me greedy but I want a reunion epilogue episode where the four of them (and why not add Xiong as well) are sitting around the dinner table, arguing, laughing, loving and being happy.

And my Yaoi heart sensed romance between Dr Lin and bad-boy Le, so throw that in the mix too.

This was THE BL of 2024. The big hug I needed in a year of immense loss.
