If I am religious and see a painting of my Saviour in a negative light. What is the worst thing that can happen from me seeing this? I get hurt, then I can move on. Your religion should be able to handle some critique, or else I'm not too sure what kind of belief that is.

This would be a different discussion if someone was discriminated against, for example not getting a job because of your beliefs. Neither of us are talking about that however, because it's not relevant. This is about a tv-show.

And I say yet again, if one religion shall be protected, all should be. No one should use any religious elements ever. But where does it end? Sanat Claus is from Saint Nicolaus, a catholic saint. Is Santa forbidden then, if no religious elements should be okay?

This K-drama? In a free world where people can express themselves freely? I don't see the issue, except your own feelings getting a bit hurt. And the world is full of such things. I get hurt by things, I don't let it consume me or dictate what other's should do or say.

You have the right to be offended, sadly I can't stop that, but I have the right to state my critique as well!
For me Satan is not real, using him whichever you want is not problematic, that's why I can watch the show without feeling offended. Iblees, Satan, whichever you want. Maybe people should learn to just not interact with things they dislike, maybe that would make them a bit happier.

Yes, the same way people are allowed to 1) make content with religious elements and 2) me to reply to the people being offended.

So what media or elements are okay? At some point EVERYTHING will be offensive to SOMEONE. All fantasy media is full of things someone can get offended by.

I'm an atheist first of all, I literally don't mind if elements from christianity or islam or whatever is used in media like this. I live in a secular society for a reason. I'll never understand why you watch things if you are sensitive to the content.

And let's not get us started with YA... how many books have not had a demon or Satan/the Devil as the romantic lead.

Regarding the horror movies, you have not seen a lot of them if you believe they only are used to drive off negative energy. Many movies use religion as a warning, the religious person often die or is ridiculed.
Have you seen The Heretic? The Mormons didn't really approve of that one, what do you think? Was it alright to make such a movie?

I believe everyone should equally either dont use or be able to. If one can dress up as a nun, you should also be able to dress up as something from islam. If it's not allowed to dress up as something from islam, it is also condemned to dress up as a nun.

The problem with this: someone will always take offence, so what should we do? Maybe I will find it offensive if you dress up as a vampire, I might identify as one, so are you allowed or not?

Surely I'll see more reviews from you on other media, like horror movies which use Christian symbols in almost everyone of them or the plenty of kdrama that use it. Cause, using religious elements in movies/series is truly horrible, don't you agree! Or does it only apply to Islam?
