I think the reason for all 7 of hearts game participants were attached to each other was for dramatic effect . Think if there were any outsiders in that game ,we won't get that emotional ending. Otherwise 4 of them have to focus on unrelated players we don't have any emotional connection. Since it was depicted 3 of them as the main characters in the very beginning ( other than usagi), killing them in name of friendship make us viewers sad. Other than that I think the participants could have gotten a solution for that game without killing anyone just like the 10 hearts witch hunt.They were told they can use any of those instruments given at the entry time. My assumption is they could have used them to dismantle the goggles. I assumed that the game masters naming the game at beach 10 of hearts caused players to think that the game is really hard to win and resulted more panicked players leading to intensified killing. These are all my assumptions.

Well...I know nothing about the anime version...I agree that smoking is a bad thing ...sorry...but everyone having exams are not youngsters unless they don't do higher studies.....
I didn't expect much ...I watched just because yang yang in it..... watched 1 episode during tea break to see if it's good.... finished all the 4 episodes in one go..good thing only four episodes are subbed ...oh man..I shouldn't be doing this ...I have an exam on Tuesday ...... My hate for filler characters in Chinese drama will never wither meanwhile the lack of secondary characters development…
Only recently I started watching Chinese dramas and my korean drama watching mind still don't understand the need of existence of so much filler characters in Chinese dramas.
