This episode its really great. The writers did the impossible. They wrap up everything in just this one episode…
My thoughts on episode 12. πŸ‘†
This episode its really great.
The writers did the impossible. They wrap up everything in just this one episode to end the story in a satisfactory way. We had the final battle between the protagonists and finally the new ruler of Arthdal. After all, this what is the initial story about. Eunseom want to comeback and revenge the Wahans and build a new world for everyone.
Who is better than him:
"I'm the son of Ragaz, a warrior of Neanthal;
I'm the son of germourukmihon of Asa clan of Arthdal;
I'm Eunseom of the Wahan tribe of Iark;
I'm purple Igutu slave of Gibadak Doldambul;
I'm the stranger who survived the judgment of the waterfall, Inaishingi".

To get this, he had the help of his Ago tribes , the Neanthals that decided to join and Momo tribe with the return of Karika in a amazing entrance to revenge her brother Karat.

The battle scene was great, and as all of us and Tagon knew it was not difficult because Arthdal had already lost.
In the middle of the story, Yangcha had a great arc and his scene with Tanya was very touching.
Same with Numbyeol and Neanthals.

Then this lead us to the end with Tagon not giving up and hoping that Taealha continue his legacy. All scenes were great, and his confront with Tanya, Saya and Eunseom were vey well built. Here i must say that its a little difficult to believe that Hae Too Ak (whom i didnt know was still alive) would leave prince Arok alone in the middle of an attack. Saya could have get him in some other way but well, Saya show to Tagon that he could harm him with the thing that he likes the most and that he is different from Eunseom.

"Break the mirror first, the day mirror reflect sword will be the end of your world".

Prophecy coming true.

And thats it. The rest is consequence.

The epilogue scenes show to us that the God wake up, and Tanya will rule Arthdal with Eunseom and Saya will go to his destiny. After a while, Taelha told Arok about the Chronicles of Arthdal and leave us indefinitely, wanting more of this world.

I was glad with the end, and that theyre alive. There are many new stories to tell. Lets hope in the name of the waterfalls, under the name of Inaishingi, Airuju and Aramun Haesulla and the other 6 gods that we could gain new seasons.

Even without the cast change I doubt Eunseom will remain β€˜pure’. It makes sense that he has matured after…
Eunseom was not the same of beggining in the end of first season already. Throught the 3 first parts his character was loosing his innocence. We could see it clearly when he became Inaishingi. He bet the life of the Tae tribe' s leader to become Inaishingi. The development of his character was clear then and now 8 years have passed but we could not see it. In season 2 he is already the great Inaishingi, a war leader but we can see how and why he become that way.

did Taealha finally managed to make iron sword? I think not.
Maybe not in that time, but since we saw in her epilogue scene, 8/10 years have passed, Hae tribe probably get it now.

Saya will probably dream of Eun Seom kissing Tanya.
That great info Miao, thanks. But could it mean thats because Tanya was sleeping?
I think we will se more if we gain that season 3.

1. There is a great story to tell behind the Momo Tribe. A spin-off is warranted.2. There is a story why the Neanthals…
I agree with you. Just like the Cookie clips , I like other formats. A webtoon would be good.

So, Tae Al Ha never ages huh? From looking after kid Saya, to having her own baby and the baby becoming fully…
She was very young when she raised little Saya. Her father pratically send her to Sanung Niruha she probably was a teen.
If you want to do the math: 16(same age as Tagon) + 28 (twins age now) + 10 (years have passed) = 54. Plus Korean tends to look younger.
Totally fine for me. She is not an old lady.

Well , to think of it they haven't explained how tagon and yeonbal survived the whirlwind fire .
Tagon has a throat cut with Aramun's sword and was still alive and talking. What a mere fire can do to him? No explanation nedded.

I love what Tagon said about civilians, how they're not innocent. As someone who studies history I always thought…
Yes, liked it. and i agree the writers were inspired.
Also when Tagon said that Tanya throw a Bruce Lee' s be like water but in her on way; I laughed.

I think the writers worked with what they have. Including cast and money. I think they did an incredible job. And they did the impossible with episode 12.
