well, if i understand correctly JSR said that she will return the shadow (Yeong) to the light who saved the world ( Uk) and left the body for her. I think it was hinted that she left for the afterlife. And the power is in her blood, since is still JBY´s body she has the divine powers or some powers with her, like seeing energy.
The blue marks for me are like scars since she was a soulshifter once. And actually it was in her eyes because JSR was blind, and the soul didnt leave the body ( first part). But you can think that they showed it in the end as a poetic license, could be. :)
Master Lee was not a soul shifter he didnt use sorcery or the soul ejector, he uses Hwansu to pass his soul to a dead body( the children).

I think the door is definitely open because of many reasons. The relics´ haunt, new babies, new recruitment project, a new Daeho era. I think dont need the blue marks for this . But if i understand correctly it remains as scars in her eyes. You can also think of it as poetic license. 😉

Naksu´s soul is in JBY´s body. JBY/JSR´soul left for the afterlife after her mission was done. The blue marks are like scars in her eyes since she was a soul shifter once.

Also loved the new recruiting project. I was expecting Yul to train the mages but it was better than I thought. :)
1. Remember. Its not season one and season two. Its a unique story with 30 episodes that TVN thought that was better for their schedule to divide. The director and the writers said that. So they created part one and part two. Try not to compare. It's not the purpose. It's like reading a book.
2. How many times we discussed here that "badass Naksu" will not comeback? Some of you are just being stubborn at this point. It's not cohesive with her story.

AoS will remain for me as one of the best kdramas. Congrats Hong Sisters. An innovative story, the cast was wonderful, we could see a good direction. Nothing is perfect but creating a new world with this kind of fantasy genre is so difficult. And also they have to fight the pressure of numbers and ratings. Im glad that tvn bought their idea. Bring some more!
