In the last episode Park Jin asked DangGu to called him if he saw a man at Jang's House and gave him a picture of Jang Kang. This is a hint to us that he is not well know despite he is the Gwanju. We discussed this here, im not expecting him to recognise his father.

Liked his scene with Uk. He didn't reveal himself as expected but it was a good talk. And of course if his hand is with bandage he was doing some sorcery or something. If he is not hwansu level now and is just a drunk guilty mage I will be frustrated ngl.
I can't express myself well enough in english to say how much I liked this episode. Not only the episode but the drama as a whole. Congrats to Hong sisters! So well written. I think some people don't know how difficult it's too make series with this standard for TV. For us who were pay attention every scene is important, every scene is connected. Just two examples on today's episode: 1. Master Heon's scene with Mudeok's ear x Jin mom doubting So Yi because of her ear. 2. Yul giving his umbrella to So Yi in the street.
Of course they can not please everyone. Each person has a taste. More romance? more action? They are trying to balance things. Let's see. But it's undeniable well written. My expectations for this part's final and part two's final only get higher.
