They did forget because past has changed like many other characters i am saying they're in the same timeline as everyone else, all others also dont have memories, only wu shiguag has and he thinks ji ling died because he never came ot of the matrix or he thinks ji ling didnt want to come out after erasing lu wuyi's existence but its clear he saved lu wuyi and stopped jiu ying from putting in fragments in her,
Ever since jiu ying died in the past, everyone's life changed including lu wuyi and ji ling, because now no fake diety is required so now ji ling never practically met chi wen and all and because 10th dragon is awake although he woke in a different timeline , he is awake and has all meomries so jinling is living a normal happy free life, although lu wuyi is saved , she doesn't belong to the moon pact and since jiu ying is also dead she is also living a free life , since they're fated they automatically meet one day, since they're supposed to,
Li jie saying that he feel a voice calling him is a hint that ji ling managed to escape the matrix and is alive, lu wuyi helping ji ling is also a hint that ji ling managed to escape is just that wu shiguan doest know and its for the good

Here is kind of my interpretation, let me know what you all think ....
So here is what i understand from the ending, ji ling and lu wuyi didn't meet in another life, its the same timeline as evryone else, its just everyone dont know because ji ling never erased lu wuyi's existence so she is supposed to exist in the present and l understand that lu wuyi helped him escape the matrix

lived a normal happy life, and lu wuyi never
belonged to the moon palace since she
doesn't have a Moon phase and was made
by jiu ying. Ji ling killed jiu ying but didn't
erase lu wuyi's existence he only stopped jiu
ying from putting her spirit fragments in lu
wuyi and the oracle Stone fragments. So lu
wuyi didn't belong to moon palace, she
must've lived a normal happy life like ji ling
and since they're fated ones they found
each other, it's honestly no another life 1
think because they show lijie telling that he
can feel a voice calling him, which is a major
hint that jiling is Alive somewhere

2 ji ling and lu wuyi normal lives

Exactly ! I liked how they showed she was scared at the first battle and was focusing on survival, and she was going back to lin'an was also fine but she wanted to fight, so ok they could've showed she's going to help she wants to and has the spirit but is also scared but no! In a glance they changed her, she suddenly too confidant killing, and in her fighting and believes she stronger than commander li, she doesn't need anyone to help her guide her, she wouldn't take the marquis's help and all, she would've gone to battle but with a brave and humbler attitude, its just your second battle girl !! She should contribute and be brave but that attitude didn't suit the overall character, in the first battle she was scared and powerful, that was nice, now they could've shown that she's somewhat braver but still she so new to battle! Like she's leading but still a little scared, like she's atleast a little relieved why xie zheng showed why the attitude, that pissed me !

Soooooo true !!! I am also soo pissed! I have realized that she doesn't like listening to people and just like that people listen to her and praise and all,anytime someone tells her anything about rules and all she'd not follow and do her own , when she was in the xie zheng's military camp, she left not because she wanted to qian. That felt like an excuse , it wws because she felt inferior, that fine i guess, but as soon as she was with geberal he and li hua'an she was soooo happy because she's the centre of attention again, and marquis wua'an is marquis for a reason she doesn't need to hurry to be equal to him in military, she's powerful but she's not trained and all and hasn't fought battles, they could shown her progress , but a slower and reasonable pace, they needed to show that she's also learning from marquis, he's the marquis and if not marquis because of her ego then maybe from general he, she ha fought one battle and she's ljke she doesn't need anyone to protect her, the progress could've been shown at a slower pace, that she learns from generals and after fighting manh battles through many months and then she becomes commander and th3n they should've met, fan xhangyu is supposed to be butcher girl with incredible strength but fighting battles does not only require strength and force.....

Since ML transmigrated 15 years ago, he'll return back to his time when he was a child and FL would return to her time, so when FL would return he would've actually be grown up adult, cause there's a 15 year difference and all those 15 years he would remember everything , wait for FL to go into the book and return, when she returns she'd remember him and thus the haooy ending .

The ML transmigrated 15 years ago and FL 15 years later than when ML transmigrated, when they both live a full life and die out of old age, they return to their own time, for example FL goes back to 2025, the ML transmigrates to 2010, when he was in school, so probably ML remembers everything waits till 2025 cause he know that is the time she transmigrated and will return to that time , and then they'll finally meet again and happy ending

yonger and prince duan both are from the novel in which FL and ML are in, but novel's FL is a transmigrator from real to novel and she has read that is going to happen and all, but that itself all is the part of novel.

Our FL was reading the book, in which yonger was a transmigrator now she herself got into the book. So basically our FL and ML are the real transmigrators and yonger is a part of novel but she knows both about real world and book world cause she's a book transmigrator not a real transmigrator and price duan is also simply the partof book, he simply suspects FL and ML and yonger of divination of being able to see the future because they know things normal consorts of that time wouldn't know or cannot know

now FL and ML will tell yonger that they're also transmigrators and will hopefully form a tean, mainly because in the novel yonger is supposed to know everything cause she's a transmigrator(book transmigrator, she's not the real transmigrator) and FL, she didn't read the real book in which yonger is a transmigrator and in this book FL and ML got transmigrated in, properly so she doesn't know a lot so they need to form a group with yonger cause according to book she knows everything.

Call me wrong but i really didn't like the male character, i mean ming yi is tooooo good for him, she was selfless all the time and did so much for him but he didn't even bother to ask why she needed the golden millet, the crossed lovers bridge casted a heartbond array, wasn't that enough to prove that she really loved him, at the end he's all again like ' all for golden millet dream' , to me he was stupid sometimes, ming yi was always saving him, and chao yun was always ready to save her, he never even tried to know much about her, all he cared about was he loves her and she shouldn't want anything from her.....
He's okay sometimes i guess ... but in ep 23 24 i hated him, he saw situ ling / chao yun take and didn't even bother to think whats wrong with her, just was trying to forget her.... he know her for so long, should've considered thinking why she wanted , on the other side whenever she REALLY NEEDED SAVING SITU LING WAS THERE , 27 WAS THERE NEVER JI BOZAI , MING YI ALWAYS SAVED JI BOZAI
