In ep 18, at about 18 min mark, Yutu draws a diagram with QJJ's name. Any ideas on what he was trying to draw/map…
Imo he's contemplating his feeling for QJJ in a flowchart as in his works. He tried to put logic to his feelings. Ofc it didn't work and then he listened to his heart. I love how the drama put bits and pieces for the viewers to pick up.
I kinda like this more than both the shows lol . For me love scenary was very boring and falling into your smile…
I'm one of that very few people 😊 I'm 45 yo so the age group thing doesn't apply to me . I watched LS and FIYS now watching YAMG. I enjoy them but I'm not a gamer so I skip some of the gaming parts. I don't watch palace/political dramas. I'm into light, romcom, detective, xianxia or wuxia. It depends on my mood at the time and the lead actors *may* influence me to watch the dramas. I understand that everybody has their opinions and preferences but I never understand haters who spend so much time spreading hate on the dramas or actors. I'm still sad about ALP yet it's such a very good drama in my book.
Do the 2nd leads Leng Yue and Jing Yi end up with each other?
I just finished reading TIC so I haven't read it. The sequel is about LY and JY before TIC. I'll read it later since I really want to know about their story.
People, who read the novel can you spoil it and say whether XY gets treated for the poison ?_?
He's cured from the poison in the end but I think they may change the cure in the drama. In the novel, Yin Pei is the key. In the drama, the treasure is the key.
ALSO FUN FACT these are points i found interesting from the novel because it's super different from the drama:1)…
I want to add: Fu Rong had an older brother and a younger sister. Wu Bai Qi ended up with the younger sister, Fu Xuan. He's as cute as the one in the drama, so head over heels for her. I had fun reading their story and Wu Bai Qi made me lol most of the time.
I would be eternally grateful if any reader of The Way of Favors could confirm that a certain bratty princess…
Cui Wan in the novel married Duke Su's younger brother but later she died. The story is different from the drama. For those who hates and cursed Duke An in the drama, he's not the villain in the novel lol.
yeah surely the last few minutes were just fillers? How likely is that the son of the ex crown prince who was…
I can't read Chinese too but I used gtranslate since the story was interesting. SJ in the novel was quiet and pretended to be a naive girl so no one suspected her until it's too late. She was cunning and able to turn the tables on her enemies. Because of what the evil sisters do to her, she retaliated using their own stupidity.

In the novel, the emperor plotted to get rid of CXM's family for years. He wasn't as nice as in the drama at all but the exact opposite. That's why he's overthrown.
And the evil sisters and their mother (the favoured concubine) got what they deserved. It was so satisfying when SJ got her revenge.
I guess they changed the story so they'd become one big happy family in the end.

In the novel, XY became the new emperor. Imho XY shouldn't be an emperor because they didn't write the backstory like in the novel. They made the drama lighter, funnier and less intense. I was surprised when I read the novel after watching a few eps. It was so serious and full of conspiracies. But I like SJ in the novel better because she was way smarter than in the drama.
