I think that the last 15 episodes are the best parts of the entire drama. Those who endured the draggy middle parts and watched till the last episode 49 will get a satisfied feeling and be contented with the ending.

In one BTS video in Utube, the flashback high school scene where QJJ mentioned that if YT tutor her math, she will treat him, "Kentucky" ( fried chicken). However in the actual drama, it was dubbed over as "fried chicken". I guess KFC didnt pay.... I 🤣🤣🤣

I will not be too worried for Yang Zi and her fans.

Her latest costume drama with Cheng Yi will be released soon. But it will be in Youku (Alibaba), Tencent's competitor.

The first 1/3 was really good then 2/3 was expected to be draggy then was hoping the last 3/3 will bounce back to better pacing, editing and more focus on LYZ and DXS.

Alas!! The 3/3 part didnt turn out as I have expected and although i finished the entire drama without dropping it. The story deviated alot from the novel after DXS's first BF died and alot of fillers for 2nd and 3rd couple storyline to expand the story to 41 episodes.

I would advise those who have yet to watch to try the first 15 episodes and decide later if they want to drop. Shawn Dou and Li Qin acting and chemistry were amazing so its worth the watch.

During the hotpot dinner for QJJ's manager husband birthday celebration, QJJ said Yutu is used to being fangirl-ed at since primary school and Yutu was surprised to learned that they were in the same primary/junior high school ( Yutu in Class 1, QJJ in Class 9).

He thought they met during high school as they were classmates. By pre-U they must have separated, Yutu went to Tsinghua University.
Pre-U should be 17 or 18 YO a n d fast forward to present as both around 28-29 YO ( Yutu asked what QJJ wants for her 29th birthday)

I am a late comer and just started ep. 1 to 5 today. Hopefully can finish up to ep. 49 this weekend.

Not a fan of Zhou Dongyu however the story is interesting enough to follow up to ending.
