I don't know why people are blaming Joo Man. I feel their problems have more to do with Seol Hee's self-esteem…
Nah, that's just an excuse. He is simply fed up with the way she is now, and using "marriage is the expense" as an excuse. To me personally he is not a mature man or a mature person because he is unable to say "no" but honestly? I don't think he wants to say "no" to the intern, he is just battling his attraction to her.
In this ep he basically called their relationship "dull" so I think Seol Hee really needs to dump him, repair her self-esteem and start loving herself.
I know some won't agree... but I feel kinda bad for Joo Man. Situations like this happen unfortunately way…
@Shay agreed :) I want her to do something nice for herself, change her style, get promotion or another job she likes and of course, finds someone better and dumps him! I'm afraid for her in the upcoming eps :/
Seol Hee needs to realise how worthy she is. I want her to wear pretty pinky outfits, eat well, and stop let other…
Me too! Her mother was right when she told her "Is he a master for you to serve? Stop tip-toeing around him!" She should heed her advice, stop pining for her whiny bf, go to the hairstylist, buy some pretty clothes, have fun with her friends and start loving herself!

But that is the point - he is hurting her by acting like a prick. And I think he is pretty much aware of what is going on but not brave enough to tell her what is making him so distant and irritated.
If I remember correctly, somebody told him about her background, not right at the beginning but later on before this mess. And it was obvious just by looking at her. I'm not saying that he is specifically looking for someone richer but subconsciously - he already thinks he deserves to climb up the career ladder and Seol Hee doesn't fit the role of his wife anymore in his mind.
I didn't say that this wasn't a realistic situation nor that this doesn't happen in real life - but that does not make me despise him any less, or any other person like him. I don't hate him for his changed feelings but for lying to her and yes, acting like a whiny bitch instead of being a man.
But on the other hand, my opinion is that he does not truly love her, and that is the root problem, even though such a couple would survive only in Dramaland. Getting a promotion in order to get married after 6 years is only an excuse.

I disagree. When you love someone you talk to them, tell them what the problem is so you can work it out together. He's set his sights for the new girl cuz she is richer and more glamorous and not because she is exceptionally ambitious or hardworking. He is a shallow and whiny bitch.
But to be honest, he has been dating Sell Her for 6+ years without proposing, to me that proves he doesn't truly love her and has been keeping her in the dark until now.
Because there is no "right time" for that, you either love her and wanna spend time until the rest of your life with her - or in his case you don't.
I NEED TO RANT ABOUT EP 10! I can't stand Joo Man! Hate his cowardly little whiny face. And I pity Seol Hee…
Yes but he is doing NOTHING to improve his relationship, he's just bitching. If he really loved her he would work it out with her, tell her what's the problem etc. The other girl is not different in terms of ambitions, she is just richer and more glamorous which proves how shallow he is.

And what's even worse, I think he would be happy if she broke up with him, he wouldn't feel guilty, grrr I hate him! I hate cowards! If she ends up with him.... and she probably will.... I'll scream with frustration!
I can't stand Joo Man! Hate his cowardly little whiny face. And I pity Seol Hee because she deserves so much better! And I don't even understand how could she crawl back into his bed after witnessing him flirting with that girl.

I would recommend this controversial film that explores the impact of Japanese war crimes on their families who had a duty to treat them as heroes: http://mydramalist.com/6280-caterpillar
