I hope her career is intact after this news. Despite the contracts and everything, no woman should be severely…
I think the reason for penalties is that as a pregnant woman you cannot do a certain type of commercials such as promoting alcohol and ingredients that might be harmful for pregnant women. And since she signed such a contract and received money, she and her partner should have been more careful, it is the 21st century after all.

Okay, so how come Japanese celebrity couples always have a huuuge age gap? I've seen so many of them. If…
Yeah, it's the thing. Usually I find it disturbing, but in this case the age gap is 9 years which is not so terrible but still... What I find more disturbing is that most of them have shotgun weddings and retire in their 20s...
On Overprotected Kahoko Sep 18, 2017
I just love how Kahoko's character slowly develops and you can truly see the change in her thoughts and behavior, and it is all thanks to Takahata's amazing acting, she is truly a gem.

Am I the only one that find that two adult in their 30s can't officially announce their 12yo relationship…
Tbh I'm not sure they are together simply because nobody managed to take a photo of them being together as a couple in 12 years, that's weird, I mean, 12 years! I didn't hear of them dating other people so who knows...

I do take a bit of issue with the statement " it was only a matter of time before the Japanese remake followed"…
You got it wrong. That statement has nothing to do with Asia copying the West. It had to do with the fact that Murakami is popular in Japan so it was only a matter of time before they adapted any of his novels. However, the truth is that Asia does tend to copy West more than the other way around.

Can't believe Love O2O, Shan Shan Comes to Eat and Legend of Zhen Huan are not in the list. Loads of chinese…
Yeah I know, but the thing is - there are too many of them :D Almost every 2nd historical drama is based on a novel of some sort, even fanfiction.

Thank you for bringing up this topic! Leaving aside movie adaptations of books that were widely recognized worldwide…
Thanks for your recommendations :) Yes, while I did some research I was surprised at how many novel adaptations are there. But I still decided to go with those that could be found and read by most people.

Thank you for writing this :). I generally prefer to read the original novel (or manga) rather than watching its…
Me too! If a read a novel or manga first, I NEVER enjoy the drama/film adaptation later on. That's why I tend to watch first and then read.
