Can someone explain to me how many times the main characters break up? One of the reasons I haven't seen Zhang…
I just watched another trailer vid of this and it also reminded me of Our Generation and First Frost where one of them leaves without a word because of their trauma and past. By the looks of it, this is prob gonna have that miscommunication or avoidance typa drama, but hopefully not the ghosting. I haven’t read the novel, so I’m not sure.

I watched the trailer and this kinda reminds me of Guardians of the Dafeng, and ARP and DW being look alike doesn’t help. Finally gonna see ARP being his real silly self (last I watched with him like that was in Female Student Arrives at the Imperial College). Love love the gorgeous Sun Zhen Ni, but sadly it looks like this won’t focus on romance ‘cause I really want to see these two in a very romantic drama.

What did you think?
It’s good. Gonna say I still prefer the Korean more (aside from that BoA part) just because the story and characters are more developed (with 16 eps). But I love the chemistry, acting, and the bit changes they made here. I also like the best friend’s portrayal better in this ver., like she’s more annoying and a bit smarter.

I’m honestly getting a bit frustrated. I’m a big fan of strong fl (who isn’t), yet didn’t really mind it here since Tingyan is relatable asf. But as someone who wants to keep living in a world where her life is constantly in danger, she still doesn’t make an effort to learn how to harness her skill and fight (considering the fact that she already got a 1000 years of cultivation from the flower). She’s smart and still loving her, and the plot seems to revolve more on Sima Jiao (tho her identity as demonic cultivator is still a mystery), I just hope she’ll grow to be more useful in fights, even just enough to defend herself.

Guys i need detox ...suggest me a good drama
My plan to watch next is Moonlit Reunion. I’ve been seeing good reviews although the rating here in low (probably some trolls).

Finally got the time to start this. Just finished ep 1 and I’m very invested already. Lighter and Princess is one of my favs and I totally love Chen Feiyu’s acting. I haven’t watched I am Nobody, but I know the FL from there, and her expressions here (her character overall) is making me wheeze. In those 2min scene they have together, the chemistry is already overflowing.
On Marry My Husband: Japan Aug 31, 2025
Currently in episode 3. Takeru has some resemblance with Na In Woo, though their vibes are different (Takeru is more intimidating). Fuka looks like Han Yo Joo with her long hair, while a mix of chinese actresses Xu Rouhan and Zhou Yutong with short hair.

I just saw that they made a Japanese version, and I rarely watch japanese dramas/movies now since I’ve been traumatized a lot of times, but since I already know the story of this, I’ll give it a try. Tomorrow is my first day back to Uni, but I’ll still binge watch this today.

I liked the story and I already predicted the ending. I still enjoyed it due to the main leads chemistry. I kind…
Yeah I also became a bit emotional in that scene (since I really liked him until they ruined his character to serve as a final villain), but the thing is they are also not together anymore in that original timeline. Maybe he thought they're still together and not broken up, then when GXJ came back, she suddenly fell for LZH. That made him mess up twice: in the orig tl where he already got her but fumbled, then in the new tl where he completely ruined their friendship and lost her.

I didn’t finish it yet but reading the comments makes me sad. We deserved more than “it’s because of censorship!”…
Literally. As a writer myself, I could think of many alternatives to pass the censorship, yet they went with the most shitty one. I’ll probably rewatch, but just some eps.

Ngl the last few episodes lowkey reminded me of love is sweet where the writers tried to add more drama and it…
That’s one of my fav modern drama. Bai Lu and Lou Yunxi still have the best chemistry ‘till this day, but yeah, I remember the frustration with 2ML.
On Summit of Our Youth Aug 22, 2025
I was expecting a wedding, but they gave us a reality. This reminded me of Lovely runner, how disappointed I was for the memories that didn’t really happen for their friends and family, but it’s still a great ending. At least the MCs didn’t spend 10 fuckin years creating another life that is much better than the original, then ending up with the shitty original. Idk anymore. I just hope Zhen Ni and Jing Ke will be given another project with better script for their amazing chemistry.

And my fear really happened. I try to be open-minded and not too critical to every story I watch/read, but the ending really disappointed me. First, why did they have to take the “crazy obsessive 2ML” route for the final villain?!! Yi Tianyu was supposed to become a better person, do what he loves which is basketball and find another woman, but no, they just have to completely ruin his character. And who I feel bad for more is his dad. I think they could’ve made a better final conflict than that. But whatever right?! ‘cause we FREAKIN ENDED UP WITH THE SHITTY OG TIMELINE. I was hoping in the last minute that the going back to their orig tl is just a nightmare, then they’ll wake up in the morning of their wedding, in the tl where they created their beautiful lives with great people. NO. What’s even more frustrating is it ended with Shiyun and Mingze who idgaf about. I’ll still give this a high rating, just pretend the ending didn’t happen.

I more or less liked this drama until I found out he’s 8 years older than her, and he was clearly into her when…
Have you already watched it? If so, then you must know that he already liked her in their first life, met her for the first time when she was like in college and probably started falling for her more when she started working in the same company as him. And when they got back, she's 18 anyway, and ofc his feelings for her in their first life remains, so he won't totally see her as a high school kid but as the woman he likes.

Fortunately in episode 18, Lin Jiadong seems to be less annoying and even has to be like a guide member for the competition. And looks like he wasn’t behind the attack of the FL’s team (neither was his annoying aunt ig). But we don’t know, he probably just wants his univ to win, and he’s just mad at the attack because the ML got hurt, and we aint forgetting what his future self did to FL. Let’s see where his character goes.

I love Bai Shu and after watching his dramas where he’s playful and funny, I can’t take his character seriously at first. But he’s really a good actor that he managed to convince me to hate He Rufei. And Chu Zhao actor is so FINE but I can’t stand his character.
