are people still fighting over this? Because I have so many people blocked the comment section just seems to be…
I don't know what is happening on social media, I just responded to this article, https://www.nme.com/news/tv/snowdrop-petition-shut-down-jtbc-launched-backlash-mounts-blackpink-jisoo-jung-hae-in-3126039 I thought the issue was resolved, but some people are just not letting it go. I decided to create a petition counter acting their protest. I understand the mixed emotions about this drama but it doesn't deserve to be petitioned for cancellation nor JTBC penalized. Here is the link to my petition, https://www1.president.go.kr/petitions/Temp/VCzyRT If we don't respond, then so many other works are going to be affected in the future if this show is cancelled based upon a minority of viewers being offended and having the power to shut down a production. I appreciate any support. It's about principle.

Unfortunately Yes. The issue has resurfaced...AGAIN. I've been reading several recent articles and the drama is not doing too well in the ratings because of this nonsense. Smh.

Listen, netizens and whomever. Cease your witch hunt. This happens all the time when you don't like a drama and you get on your high horse about what you perceive as the message of a drama, that offends you. You do the same thing with the K-performers & idols, ruining many performers lives and livelihood for nothing and you don't even blink an eye of remorse. The entertainment industry needs to stop giving netizens the delusion that they can control what is broadcast and what is not just to make a profit. You don't have a right to decide what I get to watch or not watch because you are offended by a drama. You need to just chill. Using myself as an example. How are you going to tell me the purpose and intent of my heart, of my creative work and you weren't even present during my creative process in writing it? You have no right to infringe upon anyone's creative license. Who made you the God of Censorship? The drama has a great cast. Leave those actors alone and let them work and enjoy what they do. HELLO. THE PRODUCERS HAVE SAID MORE THAN ONCE THE STORY IS FICTION. And even if it wasn't and was based upon history. Is the history of that event, the people going to change from what has already been reported, believed and documented? NOOOOO. Again, one can take creative license with history too. Snowdrop is not trying to be politically or historically correct. I see we had no problems with Crash Landing On You. If you are worried about history being distorted than make sure you do your part to pass the truth about your history down to the next generation don't expect a creative work to do that. If you are looking for politically and historically correct dramas every time a new drama comes out then write your own or film a documentary. Please just let those of us who are not so sensitive and anal about what is offensive and what is not, enjoy the show for its entertainment value. You don't like a drama or actor, then turn the channel, don't stan them but stop bashing others creative work. I pray JTBC will not bow to a bunch of fickle netizens. Gish. Get a life people and stop thinking Kdramas are suppose to be a reflection of reality or your reality.
