Not made for soft stomachs. Though it doesn't get gore, there are many strong scenes where you have to deal with the duality of acting for the better good of all or just out of selfishnes.
I fall sleep at some point. The problem with occidental indie movies is that trying to be stetic, they fall in the trap of leaving wide gaps of boredom. Japanese tend to leave also silence and visual gaps, but theirs are like a poem. The story had potential but it turns very bland and even irrelevant at some point. Aside from the bar talk, the rest is just suppositions. I'm leaving First Love (2022) as a recommendation. That one didn't fail.
In honor of truth, her voice is nerve breaking. But I endure only because of Xu Kai.
It may be, but I've been watching all Xu Kai's work and this is the first time they put the FL to talk like a child and very high. So it does get annoying. The character is ok but it didn't need that high pitch.

Again, we are not in anime. There was no need to put her to talk like that. Get over it and accept it, it is annoying. It's probably first main lead with Xu Kai that is upseting because of that scratchy voice.
Preview of episode 14... Im Joo Hwan with tears. This show is one of the few ones that allowed me to have more screen time with him and find out he is really good at cooking.
