Not a doctor, but my sister also has PTSD. She went to therapist and even with medicine, she's still struggling after 2 years. I'm not saying that method isn't working in long term scenario. I'm saying you can't expose them to their trauma once and then asking them to act like a grown men and expect their PTSD will be cured immediately.

I agreed, PTSD can't be 'cured' by exposing the patient to their trauma. It's a long process and having PTDS didn't mean you're immature or weak.
