The mother was trying to alleviate her own guilt by putting the blame on someone else. She treated her son like sh*t and Mimo was just the most convenient person to alleviate her guilt with.
This is everything I'd ask for in a thriller. It slightly wasn't what i was expecting(thought it would be like celebrity) but it was so much better than what i had in mind. The first episode threw me off a bit, but it gets so much better with the 2nd episode. It's so realistic, it's scary. I particularly liked how that billboard in episode 1 and 2 showed the inmost desires of both Mo mi and Oh nam. This is a well done thriller. Kudos to the team
