I honestly didn’t think he was that bad. I haven’t yet watched a drama that didn’t have an unnecessary character or an annoying one and it’s the same with life sometimes you encounter people that seem unnecessary but they are part of what makes it whole

Try feud it’s also good

No love triangles
And on romance not a lot of intimate scenes such as kissing ( might be none actually) but you can sense the love between the leads and their chemistry is top notch

This drama is really one of the definitions of good storytelling, one that really forces you to learn not to judge but truly try to understand, cause sometimes all we need is a bit more of communication and we can avoid causing each other too much pain (at the end of it all it was a matter of if only Bai juisi and Si Ling had communicated earlier and better they wouldn’t have both gone through soo much pain) but it’s a bit slow so you have to be patient and also the title is feud ( can’t be more obvious than that) so just prepare yourself for the misunderstandings

The ending
After going in the past to help solve the problems and misunderstandings that caused most of the characters pain and led to their present ending, she came back to the present. Because the past she had fixed belonged to people in a different timeline who would experience a different life than the one they had experienced it meant their present wouldn’t be changed as no matter what they could not erase the life they had lived. So she now went in search of Bai Juisi since he was a god and one made from the same source as her as long as the other was alive the other wouldn’t really die, they just more like needed time to recuperate similar to how she did for 300 years and after that he came back to life that’s how it ends with him waking up and them kissing

He wanted to make her jealous

I don’t think either of them was selfish they both went through a lot of pain cause of the other person and the FL more than the ML the problem was lack of communication. Yes she made the first mistake by helping the mortal kill the demigod and he went to take her punishment but she didn’t know that and during the time he left her she went through a lot of pain and then he killed their son and also because he didn’t know. Their lack of communication was the biggest problem. It led to two people that deeply loved each other to cause each other more pain than joy. As much as she would have wanted to understand him the pain she went through couldn’t just be erased in a moment

I think for someone who understood that much of the FLs frustrating actions we’re out of her desire to protect her family you get why it made sense for things to change after it was guaranteed that no matter what the ML could never hurt them

I actually thought as annoying as she was she was also realistic and wise because it would have been bad for her to just get carried away with love forgetting that other people could get hurt in the process for someone who experienced loss at a young age in her modern life it made sense for her to want to protect her current family especially because they had been nothing but kind to her
