People calling this a masterpiece and whatever and saying this is realistic...I mean, Idk what kind of people…
How can you fairly critique the entire show when you didn't even actually watch it? Skimming through a series and then marking it as watched doesn't give you the full picture
Interestingly, the things you complained about like the power imbalance between men and women are actually the central point of the drama. It’s supposed to be uncomfortable becauseit’s a critique of those social dynamics, not a celebration of them. As for the characters, they aren't meant to be 'likable' in a traditional sense. They are written to be deeply flawed and human, which is exactly why people call it realistic. This was never marketed as a fluffy romance-centered drama so judging it by those standards doesn't really fit. Also, dismissive comments about the director’s shows ratings don't change the intent of the storytelling. If you’re looking for perfect heroes, this isn't the show for you but that doesn't mean the show is a waste of time for those who appreciate a gritty character study
I'm loving how all the characters involvement in the scandal and other events is slowly being revealed with the character-POV like episodes. Really wrapping it well for closing
Have you heard of The Glamourous Night(2026) https://kisskh.at/762623-ye-se-zheng-nong First drama I'm watching in a long while and I'm 23/24 through with it and it's a great drama (though quite grey than your average drama) about challenges faced by women in the corporate industry (here in liquour sales). Lots about personal growth, navigating life, family and business.
In ep 22, Im not sure if it's a mistranslation but I have no idea what DY meant when he said he was drying his hair and ZM is drinking so she did something to him ? What does that mean I dont get the joke
I still think it should be marked as spoiler because for someone starting the show, theyre major spoilers. Everyone doesnt watch the same way, some like to watch and find out and take thrill in that rather than knowing what kind of ending it is before watching. The ones who want to be spoiled would already be opening the spoilers or asking to be spoiled about the plot or ending etc
Im not sure but i saw a scene where ZM asked DY where he is and then went to see DY perform on stage ? Thats a pretty goood closing. Also shouldnt your first comment be spoiler tagged
Im not sure about these it was just a clip where they signed the divorce papers together but Ithink we will be seeing the scene of Dong Yue back hug with Zhaomei
What's the plot about? The synopsis is really vague?
Basically 7 characters in the liquor business industry who navigate the challenging corporate world despite uncertainity and cut-throat competition. Themes of business, romance and life.
im dropping it after 9 ep... the build up of the character and the story progression is sooooo slow! Also, too…
This is exactly the reason I enjoy it. Quite realistic and no uneccesary fluff and I actually think it's pretty fast paced? Well anyways, I guess everyone has different tastes.
It seems in the novel, Qiao Hai Lun has a very tragic end. Apparently she passes away due to being overworked.…
Are they are going to redeem the ML.. Thats gonna be so pointless. Also do you think they will actually show her death or will they tone it down to something else?
Wait to you see trailer 18-19 hope she doesn't stay with her husband. He showed he is not to be trusted. At this…
Just saw the trailer, he is still trying to redeem himself. I just hope she doesn't fall for his whole load of twaddle and still divorces him whenever it may be.

Anyone know who this person is in the ending credits?
