I'm just confused on this: Who initiated the breakup first? There's a breakup scene on the seaside near the windmills where Samdal is saying goodbye to Yong Pil because she's going to study abroad. Then, there's also a scene in front of Yong Pil's house where Samdal is begging to him not to leave her.
Tell me your favourite moments of the drama till nowMy personally ep 4 ending epilogue is my favourite l love…
When Yong Pil asked Sam Dal if she's okay, made me cry. Those three words that she needed and been wanting to hear for so long. She's acting strong and tough all the time that's why people around her hesitate to ask her that. But Yong Pil knows her more than anyone else. I think we need someone like him in our life, the one who will ask us how do feel even if we look okay on the outside. That scene melts my heart. π₯Ίβ€οΈ
I cried in the balloon scene. π₯Ίπ When Ran Joo did the same for Mok Ha, and then Kiho, Woohak, and Yong Gwan also helped. She may not get into the top of the chart immediately, but her journey was so beautiful, and more importantly, she's very happy along the way. The 15 years of loneliness and waiting in the island is all worth it. π₯Ίβ€οΈ She met a family and friends that love her, plus her long time idol became her companion and sincerely want all the best for her.
On the other hand, I just wish Mo Rae also find her happy ending. Through her entire career, she felt that she was just a replacement to Mok Ha, neglecting all the hard work she had to reach that fame. She was chosen back then because she was the best when Mok Ha's not there. Second place is still GREAT. And I just hope she ends her insecurities and accept her own self. The ending was perfect but I want to see the three of them singing on stage. Uhm.. no, the four of them. Yong Gwan also sings well. π€ β€οΈ
Okay. I'm happy with the ending!π₯° This is one of the best kdramas for me. Love it!! β€οΈ
Felt guilty about Lee Seo Joon. He's greedy, but not that bad after all. Well-played, writer. π Thank you so much. The lines were crafted beautifully.
I'll definitely do a re-watch. π Though I'm now going to skip the 'beat up' scenes. π
There is something in this series that I didn't find in any other series this year, idk what it is but I like…
Same here. β€οΈ Maybe because of the characters..The great bond and love of Kiho's family (with non-biological father) and how they treated Mok Ha nicely. There are many lovely characters and toxic characters as well that is keeping the show balance. And also the way they connect Mok Ha's experiences from the island to her current situation. The writer is so amazing. We can also learn some lessons and realizations most of the time at the end of an episode.
Lee Seung Joon is such a versatile actor. ππ» He portrayed his roles very well. He looks so kind in Strong Girl Nam Soon, and then he was scary in this series. I feel so nervous when he showed up on screen. π π€£ I'm afraid on what actions he might do next. π
The intro were supeb. However, I've got bored at some parts and it feels like the story is slowly moving until episode 10+ were I became interested again. Nam Soon did well but for me, Ryu Si-O carried the show. It's just sad that he's a villain with a dark and traumatic past. π Yes, we can choose what's right and wrong as an adult, but what if the good things were never introduced to him? And also, he even treat his father generously and he almost swayed to Nam Soon. Maybe, just what if, he was born in a well-loved family, he might be a total different person .
I like Byeon Woo Seok since Record of Youth and My 20th Century Girl and I'm glad that he's finally getting a spot light. He did well and he deserve it. π₯°
The ML is also good. It's just that his character don't have much funny scenes.
I look forward for the next season and I hope that they will have Minmin and Bongbong again as cameos with more screen time. π
Which one happened first? π
The only great thing Bang Eun Joo did was to unintentionally make Samdal go back to her hometown. Though it was through the worst way.
