If you cut out the unnecessary and unreasonably long stares, it would shave a good 20 mins from the movie!
This might hit different if you didn't see the original, but this was a poor remake!
This whole movie covered the first 18 mins of the original, skipped the next 40 mins of build up and then they were together.
You would still have no idea why Takumi doesn't let anyone touch him, but hey all of a sudden, Gii can! 😳
If there is a part 7, perhaps they should fill in the gap!

Like I said to another reviewer, I completely forgot about Book and his abusive boyfriend by the end. That's sad making! Thinking back, I felt like him would gladly take back that guy or possibly find himself in another abusive relationship. We'll never know, but I'm just gonna go ahead and match him with Mhok.
Speaking of Mhok, that boy needs to get over Aoey romantically and be a good friend to him! He needs to help Aoey get out of that sugar daddy situation and talk some sense into his overbearing family!
Love me some Gene and Nubsib, but my boy Gene needs to unclench and Nubsib needs to learn to communicate (well actually both of them do)
Great review!

Finally got around to watching this.
Funny that you're the top poster on this page because holy crap, you hit it out of the park again with how much I agree with you!
A few thoughts:
- I feel super bad about Book because I completely forgot about him, until I read this review. Yikes, that says how much his character mattered!
- About the Aoey part, I left this feeling like they wanted us to know the "villain" was left with nothing. No family, no friends! He's pretty much living off of a sugar daddy. Although, I'd love to know what he left for Nubsib in that gift.
- I agree with Mhok, B52's make me cringe!
- I don't regret paying for this. 2 minutes in, I could tell what I was in for, so I adjusted my expectations. Eye-rolling moments aside, I had a blast watching it!

I know this is quite a few months late, but I just read this and your review 100% mirrored my thoughts while watching this. The lack of actual LGBTQ+ voices in the room was so apparent!

Nueng is undisputably trash and his claiming Chon was so problematic, but I felt Ton beating him, when he did the exact same thing to other girls, was solely homophobic. I'd cheer him on (I don't condone violence 😜) it if Ton truly thought the ownership part was bad, but no, it's only because he's a man doing it to another man!
Also, they did my boy Gunsmile dirty. I'd like to selfishly believe that since he's part of GMMTV, he had no choice but to take that role!
The Dad was trash...'nuff said!
The sister's husband must be gay because "stereotypes" storyline, trash!
Ai and Ni not calling out and in some cases cosigning the homophobia, trash!
You clearly articulated the rest of the trash, so I'll stop.
All in all, I Really wanted to like this, but they made it impossible!

For a movie that I spent the whole time thinking, "WTF am I watching?", I was thoroughly entertained!
It was definitely my kind of silly. I can kinda understand why some didn't like it, because my best friend would for sure hate it (even with all the handsome men)
