i agree almost everything except the homophobic part. I didn't think the gay issue was portrayed in negatively at all especially when you had min hyuk not caring that much about being seen as gay. He had a "there's nothing wrong with it, who cares" kind of attitude.
I watched all 6 episodes and I definitely think there are more coming.Regarding the story, it kind of mocks BL…
RIGHTTTT i was so worried that it wasn't going to end well in the last few episodes (especially since the majority don't in asian dramas) but i was so happpy and i cried so much asakjfgdkjghdjkhfd bless those two.
I watched all 6 episodes and I definitely think there are more coming.Regarding the story, it kind of mocks BL tropes but as to whether they'll up together idk. It reminds me a lot of the Takuya x Joon Jae storyline in The Lovers( when they started living together :') ya'll know what scenes i'm talking about) like the whole dropping the soap in the shower scene omf ahahaha
Honestly after the first two episodes I found this to be really good (maybe i'm just one of the few) and yes while i do have a slight case of 2nd lead syndrome I don't mind the main lead's developing romance at all. Also that bromance tho ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) *cough*
I watched the first two episodes cause I didn't have anything to do and well it's good I suppose. I did skip a few scenes here and there and while I'll keep watching it I have a feeling this is gonna be one of the few dramas I drop halfway and then see the finale.
I'm not the biggest fan of either of the main leads (don't shoot me please) nor did I understand the huge hype about YWCFTS (Don't get me wrong, it was good but it wasn't my favourite) so that could also be one of the reasons why I don't automatically love this series.
I do hope it gets better and more interesting thought, especially since the plot( or rather the whole mermaid thing) isn't something you see everyday in Kdramaland.
After 2 hours of non stop ugly crying, i'm here and I just gah- I knew the ending was going to break my heart, I knew it and I kept telling myself over and over again to not get my hopes up or to get attached to their relationship, I even wanted to stop watching the series so I dont see what was inevitable happened but noooo, I was in too deep and decided to be masochistic and stick with it till the end. Big. Mistake. Still one of the best dramas of 2016 but I'll be going to university with puffy red eyes so thanks for that SHR
Was it just me that almost had a heart attack when I thought Byung Yeon died and an actual full frontal heart attack when Yoon sung died? I was crying more then she was especially since while I love Bogum(like he's one of my biases in Kdrama Land) I had a serious case of 2nd lead syndrome- The fact that the two main's relationship wasn't defined at the end also left a bit of a sour taste in my mouth.
All in all, it started off great but somewhere along the way I lost my attachment to the main character's relationship. Then again I'm not a big fan of Period dramas to start with so that probably contributed.
girl you betta grab that fine piece of detective ass a.s.a.p
