I know, I wish I lived somewhere that Asian-lovin' was a normal thing (: I have to admit, there's plenty of people studying in my school that are from Asia, though - we even have a program where 40 students form our school swap schools with our sister school in South Korea(one in Alaska, too) but I can't do that since my major is nursing and I have to stay here TT-TT besides, I'm sure it'll cost extra money that I don't need to be spending so casually

That sounds like it would be so fun! You would practice your Spanish in Argentina! Will your parents be cool with it? Ah, you know, Asian things like drama/anime/manga are kind of big in South America, so you can make friends by sharing the same hobby XD

WOW! CHINA! I wish I could go to Asia, I know a girl that works with the underground church in China there, and she's got some amazing stories!
The farthest I've gone is Brazil, I LOVE it, I have this love for the people there and when it's time to come home we're all sobbing
I'm sure you'll find it a blessing to visit another culture - it's different when you experience new adventures, rather than just watching documentaries on TV, so it'll be a real treat for you :D

I signed up 2 weeks ago for a trip to Peru for Spring Break, and the youth pastor mentioned a trip to Haiti for the summer that I'm interested in

I think you should take all the opportunities to go to missionary trips, it's really a HUGE blessing
