honestly it was a hard watch, the whole thing was stiff and the acting couldn't shine through at all because there was no actual focus whatsoever, the scenes just shifts rapidly and haphazardly around the place, there no time where everything comes together and makes sense because of the pacing
At first i was annoyed and wanted the actor to move on, but later i got to understand the cook, i actually have a tendency to run when things start going too well, and same goes for the cook, he wanted to hold the relationship and times spent with his boyfriend dearly before things go sour, he believes he's not loveable and thinks the actor sacrifices way too much for him, the story telling carries a slice of life and a bittersweet feeling surrounding realistic love, i actually find myself liking the s2 more it was actually beautiful, the countryside setting and other little new character even the ex was important to the story, she makes you realize what it means to love, to let go and how much your action as a person another hold dear can break or make them and yourself.
honestly it was beautiful, I could tell the ending from the beginning, going on a mission that dangerous has its risk of death and so many things could go wrong. But the movie never leads you on and there were foreshadowings of what could go wrong in almost every episode but the problem was......... I fell in love.............I fell in love with the characters, their friendship their sacrifices and their growth. and so I started to hope for something different, to maybe have a HE, and boy did I ball my eyes out, I was so sad and yet I just love this series so much, a masterpiece I tell you.

Indeed, that's the beauty of the devil judge Kang yo Han never justifies his actions as justice or a heroic grandure of saving anyone, he was downright selfish and did all he did for a certain amount of revenge and pain. Funny enough it's a hypothetical dystopia Korea but very much a reality in this part of the world I'm in, sadly there's nothing the government hasn't done to it's citizens, maybe that's why I appreciate Kang Yo Han I guess
The devil Judge got me on my latest antihero obsession lol, I just really have this dislike for an all roung good person who meaninglessly believes even when there's no reason to, the goody two shoes heroes and heroine made me super mad for how ideal and unrealistic they can be lol but I still enjoy the hero troupe and don't ask me why... Well analyzed though well done. For me it's the imperfection, those flaws that they still think to change even when all should be destroyed they are more non fictous compare to classical heroes but I still despise some like kim Ga On and his best friend in the devil judge they made me mad at some point
I only watched him in "the lies she loved" and I'm already interested in him, he's such a great actor, his smile is also infectious very very beautiful
I Soo agree with you I just felt the story revolved around pretty boys and not much as a tan of the C-BBJX i thought this remake would be better, so disappointing
