I was looking forward to this BL series so much because of the actor. Any Boonboomger fans here? What a disappointment. What a boring story, boring characters. Nothing worked for me. I'm sad because I didn't want to end it with this feeling.
I have to give Mint a shout-out. I thought she'd be way below the other actors. But she was great. Myday's scenes with her 'cult' are sinister. I loved it.
Toey is the most experienced; I wouldn't expect anything less from such an excellent actress. Win repeats his best performance, Namtan is always iconic, and Jingjing is even better than in 'Hide and Sis'.
I liked this season more than the first, and I REALLY liked the first one. I miss Prim and Piploy.
I don't see any problem with only one episode per week. They're completely different stories, it's not like they're going to drag the same plot out for seven months. I really prefer 1 new story per month.
At least the gays and Diamond weren't being humiliated in the volleyball match before Uno arrived. And as much as they try to say that Uno needed the queers, the series wasn't about that, it was all about them needing to be saved by the straight alpha.
They had great characters, but the script lost focus. The queer series about straight romance.
I'm not disappointed that UnoJared didn't happen, because it was always obvious to me that UnoFarrah was the endgame. But it's a little (actually VERY) annoying that there wasn't any romantic development for a relationship between the queers. Regardless of whether JaredEthan or LucienEthan happened, none of these relationships were developed.
And don't give me that idiotic defense that "this isn't a romance series" when FarrahUno is happening right in front of us.
The series has good ideas, it has scenes with good lessons... but the bitter taste of the straight guy saving the gay team is still there. The series was all about the queers needing Uno. And him? He learned how to get the girl.
I really want to regret everything I wrote and have the last episode completely change my feelings, but I find it very difficult.
I don't regret watching it because the characters are great. There are funny, sad, and funny scenes, and a lot of charisma.
