I think we're halfway through filming, right? A little more, a little less and obviously there's still a lot to film, but in the trailer Tee seemed like an important character and so far he hasn't filmed a single day.
I know Tee was with the cast reading the scripts, so him being replaced doesn't make any sense.
In my opinion, this was the most difficult remake to produce. It's a very specific type of humor that doesn't relate well to a large part of the BL audience. I never understood why GMMTV chose this series to begin with.
And everything is even more difficult because it came after 'Ossan's Love Returns', even if people don't admit it, they were expecting a bit of a sequel. And the sequel is PERFECT. I think 'Returns' is better than the first series. And this even gave more weight to the remake, even though it was said from the beginning that it was a remake of the first series.
I think it was a GOOD result, I think Au as director did a better job than in 'My Love Mix-Up', but there are still serious audio problems in the series.
The actors gave everything they had and were happy with their choices. I don't think anyone was bad. As an EarthMix fan, I'm happy they have this series on their resume, they have a variety of series. And especially Earth having a character so different from what he is usually cast as.
I know that in comedy we overlook a lot of things, after all it's a comedy and you can't take it seriously. But I was SO SHOCKED that they let Heng without memory get married. Like what the hell is this? I think Heng is always apologizing for things he didn't do. He should have been mad at Mo for not telling him things.
It's likely they'll still blame Heng for losing his memory.
I'm really, really hoping that Aou's fake tan doesn't look bad in the video. Because in the photos it looks so ridiculous that it's annoying.
I'm not even going to get into the issue of whether the right thing to do would have been to cast an actor with the skin tone they wanted. That discussion might be too complex and could have turned into a fandom fight.
Anyone who watched 'Peaceful Property' knows.
