I’m not sure about the changes they’ve made with the drama but the love triangle is actually not a thing in the novel as I remember. Gao Xi is Gu Wei’s ex and it’s just that she’s kinda unwilling to give up on him cuz he’s a perfect partner from her perspective. But don’t worry GW only loves LZX 😊.
