Title His Man Season 4 Spoiler
I almost gave up hope for HJ and YJ. Now that I looked at that scene a little better again, you're right, it looks…
Please rewatch the scene — Kim Su Min only spoke after Hyun Jun had already turned around. What I found fascinating is that his first instinct was to look at Yun Jae. Body language doesn’t lie. Let's continue supporting everyone🧡

Title His Man Season 4 Spoiler
I think from the beginning HJ was interested in both of them and he still is, cause when SW asked on the date…
I agree — I also think he’s interested in both. What stood out to me in Episode 7 is that while his words stayed open, his body language during Jenga felt more instinctive. The fact that he instinctively looked at Yun Jae first suggests a subconscious orientation toward him. He may not have fully settled his feelings yet, but sometimes instincts show up before clear decisions. Our bodies tend to reveal things we’re not fully aware of or ready to say.
I’m curious to see how things continue to unfold. can't wait😊

Title His Man Season 4 Spoiler
Don’t get me wrong — I like Sun Wook, and I thought the date was nice. They clearly enjoyed themselves, but nothing about it felt romantic or game-changing to me.

Then comes the Jenga game, which made things even clearer for me. When Hyun Jun was asked whether the person he liked was seated on the right or left, and what happened next was incredibly telling. The very first person he looked for was Yun Jae. He didn’t scan the room, didn’t glance at anyone else, and didn’t hesitate — he IMMEDITALY turned back to check where Yun Jae was sitting.

That instinctive reaction matters. When someone is undecided, they usually look around or hesitate. But when someone is leaning towards a specific person, their eyes and body automatically seek that person first. Sun Wook was clearly on the right and easy to see, yet Hyun Jun completely bypassed him in that moment. If Sun Wook were the one he was leaning towards, Hyun Jun’s body would have oriented towards Sun Wook FIRST!!! He wouldn’t instinctively look behind him for someone else (Yun Jae).

All of this just confirms what I already suspected: the date didn’t move Hyun Jun emotionally in the way many people think it did.
And when you connect these moments to what Hyun Jun later says in the trailer — “My feelings haven’t changed, they’ve grown” — and then to what happens in the handholding chess scene with Yun Jae, everything clicks into place. It completely dismantles the idea that Hyun Jun was rejecting Yun Jae in that scene. I've said this before that the chess handholding functions as confirmation of his growing feelings for Yun Jae. Which aligns with the voiceover from the trailer.

Anyways, just my thoughts. Whatever choice they make, I’m rooting for all of them🤗

Finally yes finally 🥹🩶 I have a doubt actually 😅 There are some discussion that during the last episode…
Yes, rewatch the preview for the upcoming episode. while HJ & YJ's hands are locked u can hear someone talking & briefly see their hand movements. HJ briefly glanced at that for a sec, that's why some were confused and thought his looking at SW's reaction.

I don't know if you noticed this in the preview, while HyunJun is busy smiling & visibly enjoying the handhold with YJ😊 someone seated on Sun Wook's side is quietly talking & making hand gestures. Its subtle, that movement could easily draw a brief glance, and the editing could make it seem like HJ is looking at SW to see his reaction which is not the case.

For argument's sake let's say his looking at Sun Wook, wouldn't that be even worse for SW because HJ is still blushing, smiling while maintaining a firm grip on YJ's hand. If SW were the one affecting his emotions in that moment, you'd expect some kind of reaction like loosening his grip, stiffening or atleast looking conflicted but none of that happens. To me he looked genuinely happy in that moment😊

Title His Man Season 4 Spoiler
Looking back at earlier season's endgame or near endgame pairs often get underplayed early. For me Hyun Jun's private gestures like, giving up his chair, reassurance when YJ worried about the room change etc. are much more telling than a public gift or date selection.

In previous seasons some of the most meaningful connections developed quietly with subtle gestures. The show can hide the strongest connections in subtle ways, while more performative or loud gestures get attention but don't always indicate true emotional depth.
Now back to Hyun Jun and Yun jae, so I see many are saying HJ isn't interested in him anymore based on what happened in the previous episodes. I know many will disagree but here's my take:

1) HJ not gifting Yun Jae & choosing Sun Wook as his date
- In my opinion, it's about timing & circumstance rather than a disinterest in Yun Jae. SW became proactive & gave HJ a date card referencing the previous shoot. Receiving the card sparked curiosity & temporarily shifted HJ's focus. Clearly HJ responds well to proactivity. SW giving him the card, that was direct, concrete signal that invited him to explore a connection.

2) HJ joining Han Gyeol's chat & not Yun Jae's
- Well, he said he entered Han gyeol's chat out of curiosity, citing MBTI similarity & that they hardly spoke before.
-But my issue with that was during 'Put a finger down' game, Han gyeol pretty much told them he wasn't interested in all 4 men including HJ🤣, so logically that should have shut down any curiosity HJ had for him & joined YJ's chat instead, right😅
This tells me curiosity wasn't the real driver here. I feel like he was subconsciously avoiding Yun Jae, not because of disinterest but maybe running from his own feelings. Even anonymous, entering Yun Jae's chat would force him to confront his own feelings, there could also be an element of guilt for not giving him a gift... I feel like he hesitated because of SW [my thoughts]

To me what looks like a logical inconsistency on the surface & staying in Han gyeol's chat despite rejection, is actually a window into Hyun Jun's internal struggle regarding his feelings.

On the trailer HJ says, "I once liked him, so I hesitated" this implies a past timeline (Sun Wook) and "My feelings haven't changed, they've grown" this line is present (Yun Jae) This is consistent with what we later see in the chess handholding scene. Introverted people like HJ don't casually reach out physically & u can see in the clip his the 1 initiating it. For someone like him, every small gesture is loaded with intention & meaning.

The chess handholding functions as confirmation of his growing feelings for Yun Jae. Which aligns with the voiceover from the trailer. That's why this theory of him "rejecting" YJ in that scene doesn't hold for me. That wasn't a rejecting gesture. The gesture is the physical manifestation of that statement.

Hope they all find happiness❤

Like damn even Han Gyeol joined Eum's chat. It isn't about who likes who but that was just carelessness on Hyun…
Hyun Jun often feels like his just… there. Minimal reactions, vague answers, little follow up. I get that his an introvert but his not the only introvert there, others are being more proactive while his just existing. His nonchalant behavior is starting to annoy me. Yun Jae deserves better.

For my sanity I think I will sit this one out and come back once I know who ends up with who. I like Sun Woo but when Hj gave him a gift instead of Yun Jae my heart broke for Yun Jae. I think I’m more shattered then Yun Jae at this point. Hj also didnt join Yun Jae’s chat… I honestly didn’t see this coming. Just when I thought things can’t get worse Han Gyeol goes and says his feelings for Taichi are decreasing, like are you for real????!!! I honestly couldn’t finish the episodes.
