Thank you for the explanation. I usually love finding out about cultural differences . However this left me quite unhappy, partly I think because I really liked the FL and it felt like the ML was belittling her. But since it’s a cultural thing , I’ll try to take it as it was meant to be or just ignore it and give it another go.
Not sure if you finished it, but the romance takes a bit more of a backseat in this drama. This is more so plot-line…

I think it’s not that he forgot how to be THAT badass, but that he didn’t want to be and that he was suppressing that part of himself because of what happened during his last mission. But, yeah, the Look in his eyes gave me goosebumps . Loved it!

I got tired of the stereotypical tough guy and the sweet damsel in distress. Boring! So I really appreciate this list! Right now I’m watching fiery priest. No romance so far and if you stick with it, there is lots of friendship feels. Takes a while to get there though.
Had to drop it. I love strong female characters, unfortunately the FL here is entitled bratty and annoying. It’s hard to believe that anyone would actually want someone like her around. Sometimes it’s better to have no romance instead of something that feels unrealistic and forced.

Really liked her in The Fiery Priest! Her character was strong and cool, she was spot on. But why so much botox ! The only thing that moves when she talks is the area around her mouth. Her cheeks, her eyes and her forehead are rigid, no movement at all.She is a great actress, but her facial expressions are not what they could have been without all that botox.
