I am really curious, I am in Ep3 after watching FX molest YSL. Is sexual molestation ok now? What am I missing?…
His behaviour is not romanticised like in other BLs, there is nothing ok about it and it's not portrayed that way at all. it is what it is, molestation and manipulation; FX is absolutely crazy. The series doesn't try to hide it at all, which is what I like about it.
I just started this and I'm really curious but the synchro quality makes the mls voice sound so unnatural and it makes me loose focus. It sounds as if the main voice actor is much too close to the microphone, especially in comparison to others who sound fine. His voice also sounds as if it got some kind of effect on it to make it sound deeper. I don't get it. The rating makes me wanna keep watching tho...
I see that several people aren't comfortable with a romantic relationship between Dan and Asuka because she was…
Oh no, I was gonna watch but as a teacher myself this makes me supremely uncomfortable. I don't know, I'm pretty much the same age and knowing someone was my student, even just for a short time would make me cringe so hard. I guess I'll have to skip. I don't mind the age difference though. Like if she was a teacher at a different school or at his school but didn't know him, I wouldn't mind that at all.
Yes, this is fantasy romance. They are main leads.
Ah thank you! Yes I saw the romance tag, but I was hoping the romance would be between a main lead and a side character or second lead. It's rare, I know but I read something about a childhood friend or something so... Anyway, thanks again!
I need a spoiler. Will there be romance between Naksu and Jang Uk? I'm hoping the answer will be no because that would be too predictable and also I love strong friendships between main leads so much more, but I'm guessing yes. Can someone please tell me?
He was so awesome in Vincenzo! I loved him as a villain! It's great that he got this particular role and had the opportunity to show how versatile he can be and how good his acting truly is.
To the people who are asking if Vincenzo is overrated.
Every drama is rated the way it is because viewers rate a drama according to the way they feel about it. Since most people are not film critics and give a subjective rating, the rating you get is mostly the average of how people felt about the drama. Therefore the rating is a mirror of people's feelings and just right. However, how you feel about the rating is a completely different matter and depends on your viewing experience and your preferences. No one can really tell you whether you will feel like it's over or underrated before you've watched it. How you feel about it is up to you.
I rated this 10/10. I'm not a film critic so when I rate a series I don't care about being objective, it's purely subjective and based on how much I enjoyed the series. Were there a few things in the show that could have been done differently or that didn't make perfect sense... yes, of course there were! But in the end those paled to how the drama made me feel and how much enjoyment it gave me. While watching Vincenzo I laughed my ass of, I raged, I cried, I yelled abuse at my poor TV, I swooned and felt so many emotions and even found that apparently I too have a dark side... So that's why I can't give anything but a 10/10!
I stopped watching this because I was quite bothered by the way fans behaved in the comment section. I like reading comments while watching and there are always some uncalled for posts, unfortunately that's just how it is. However there were so many attacks on people who criticised aspects or scenes or who simply didn't enjoy the show as much as hype demands. One viewer stated that a scene felt draggy, oh boy, that was clearly a mistake... I was quite appalled and it gave me a bad feeling whenever I thought of the show. Reading all the positive comments here, I'm debating if I should try it again, but whenever I think of word of honour I remember those disrespectful fans. People like that do the show a disservice
Damn - this show is so badass! I love the ML and the FL. I thought I'd get bored with the story since there are 20 long episodes but that clearly didn't happen. And what even is the antagonist!?! That dude is just... I don't even have words for it
It’s an amusing show if you don’t take it too seriously. Not great but entertaining. ML did quite a good job. However how many flashbacks can you put in one show. I really don’t like this stylistic device if it’s used too much and especially if its used to show me scenes that I’ve watched not too long ago. Loved that one song that they kept playing though.
I like the story and I adore most characters. Unfortunately, in my opinion, the female protagonist Mi Joo doesn't really have a spark. She seems bland and kind of boring even though there are quite a few scenes that should have made her more interesting. I don't know if it's how the character is written or the acting. however since this is the second time I had this feeling watching the actress interpret a character, it might just be that I don't click with the actress. I don't feel a thing when I watch her perform, just indifference. Still, there are many other awesome characters in this show, her roommate for example is awesome, as is the second female lead. The male leads nailed it as well!
In my opinion this is not a happy ending. I will not get into the whole issue about who the king really fell in love with, even though that bothered me quite a lot as well. Here is what made me really mad about the ending. Bong Hwan is the main character who in the future seems to have no relationship, no family and no friends. Not once did he mention anyone that he left behind in the future. There was no family member or friend at the hospital waiting for him to wake up. In the past he had a bunch of people he loved and cared for. Among others he had Hong Yeon, lady Choi and even So Yong's father. And then of course there is the king. Some people may argue that the romantic feelings came from So Yong and had nothing to do with Bong Hwan himself. Even if you want to see it that way, it doesn't change the fact that Bong Hwan cared deeply for the king, you can see this after he wakes up in the future. His love may be of a romantic nature or it may not, it's still love though. And I think everyone would agree that he definitively loved the baby!
So how can this possibly be a happy ending, when the main character, Bong Hwan, loses all the people who are important to him and goes back to a future where he seems to lead a lonely life?
Finally finished! This is just ok for me. One thing i liked was how they ended this drama everything was in its…
It's good to read that you enjoyed the ending. I thought the writers were crazy to finish the story like that and really wondered what they were thinking. But since there are people like you who enjoyed it, I feel better about it. I know this may sound strange. The ending disappointed me so so much, I was crushed after finishing the drama. The character I grew to love, a combination of Bong Hwan and So Yong with both their memories and emotions, just disappeared! There were only two separate characters left, neither of which was the one I really adored. So Yong was completely new, Bong Hwan was at least familiar but he had little to no screen time in the end. Like I said, I was completely disappointed. But seeing that other people appreciate the ending makes it feel like less of a loss to me. Hope this makes at least a little sense.
I really liked Wang pang Zi in this. He is funny, loyal, sweet and fierce. And funny in this drama doesn't equal being ridiculous and sounding and acting like an idiot all the time which I've unfortunately seen many times in C-dramas already, so I really appreciated his character. ZYL is ZYL. I've nothing more to say about his performance. I was a bit disappointed because Zhang Qi Ling didn't have enough screen time. I like the actor but he didn't really have a chance to properly develop his character, so it felt empty to me. And I wish the three of them had more time together. Still enjoyed the drama a lot though!
