OMG you guys did that? How can you talk about me in a bad way behind my back? Bad chingus, bad! Oh, just because I confessed it doesn't mean it's true you know!
Yes, I know! It's too exciting to follow. Btw, how's Reply 1994? Will I be able to like it like the first one?

I know right? I just found out that I always like revenge themes with dark romance in them. Fluffy romance does not interest me anymore. I will go to check the preview then.
It's a Suspense/Mystery with some romance whci means that's not focused on the latter so I adon't think it would be to your liking.
Oh Erin, you feel me! They just extended one of them and I am dying of frustration just to finish them already!

I must admit that I loved Maou soely for the revenge theme and the impressive acting by Ohno. I thought the love story itself was unnecessary.
I saw most of the dramas you mentioned; One Million Stars Falling from the Sky had a terrible ending in my opinion; I hated that theme. I watched MARS, Ice World, Byakuyako and Rondo too. Ice World being one of my all time favorite mystery drama and I plan to watch Piece soon.
I see a similar pattern in A Sleeping Forest; something in common between Ice World and One Million Stars Falling from the sky; please don't tell me that there will be a similar twist to the latter's.
Although Yoiji's trilogy (The Hidden Blade is the second in that) is more of human Samurai stories than action/gory oriented; I am enjoying it, I still haven't seen the last part though.
Have you found another drama to your liking?

Yes, I am really pissed at the lack of subtitles. They sub family and romantic dramas leaving detective dramas behind. But one of the detective dramas I am interested in is available now, I am so happy.
You don't like Japanese mysteries? It's actually my all time favorite genre out of Japan with detective dramas of course. I am always looking for their mystery/suspense productions and I usually get turned down since most of them aren't subbed.
I am also watching their older productions; Japanese classics and Chinese old Martial Arts movies, I forgot how much fun it was to watch old Kung Fu movies.
They just extended Just You, this is really frustrating.
What are you currently watching?

You're sick? I wish you get better soon (:
So, you decided to start Pride? That's so good, I hope you will enjoy it, Kimmy is so good in there :D
OMG kill me! It got extended to another episode? I was dying of joy thinking that it's going to end next week :(
They did the same with "Love Around", is this some kind of torture or something?
I find the general feel of this story interesting but I am not convinced with Kazuya; I still believe that he's not a good actor but who knows? Maybe he became better.

I haven't seen it either but I downloaded it ages ago so I want to watch it soon and get it over with. It is about boxing, that's where Yamapi got his current body shape from.
Have you finished Nodame?

Oh no, horror is not for me. I am immune to tragic things but horror is an impressive "no". Have you seen his movie "Ashita no Joe"?

It's not that I dislike them but watching them back to back becomes annoying like I did with Doubles and Biblia. So I picked "A Sleepless Forest"; it's dark but it's dramatic so there's no episodic pattern to slightly ruin my mood. But right after it, I will pick up another episodic one.
Is that so? I was skeptical whether or not should I start a Wuxia drama but I figured that I am not in the mood for long dramas. I am hardly trying to finish short Japanese dramas.
Which drama do you have your eyes on?

Wohooo! I need to celebrate my ipgrade LOL
And yes, I did start with SS; althogh, it was SUPER long; I just had to give it the straight 10 :D Oh, of course Mufine is going to get a hot spot on my favorite actors list.
Miike has horror movies; I hate those even if the guy is a living legend for me. He does have rubbish films sometimes :D

If I may ask, what are the dramas with the genres "Mystery/Romance" that really got your appreciation? Or even the one that you didn't like but they fall under that combination?
Actually, Maou has a love line. I don't know if you managed to finish it or not but of you get pass the first few episodes; you will meet the love interest in that drama. But it's a revenge drama more than anything.
I understand your feelings about being in the best mood to watch a specific genre. It happens to me all the time. For instance, right now I am in a drark mood so I only watch mystery, investigation, detective, and twisted dramas. If I try anything light then I will hate it no matter how good it is. I am less picky with movies though.
