I can understand that because I will be going through the year where I will have to take the big exam to decide what major will I be studying in med school soon. I advice you medicine if you're into that but I remember that you said it doesn't suit you so if you're good with your grades aim to be a lawyer.

I was also lazy during this summer like every summer because this is a chance for me to relax so that I can focus on study later on. However, I don't believe that I will ever stop watching dramas even when the school year starts. I was always like that; I only cut it off during exams period.

You're in Bollywood mood? It's been ages since I last saw any Bollywood film. Hanzawa Naoki is one of my two top obsessions at the moment; very intriguing and wonderful.
I think I recommended Kazoku game before but I will recommend it again; it's a very captivating refreshing storyline.

I agree with you; romance only dramas tend to drag and become really hateful that I can't wait to finish it. Romantic comedy dramas started to take that path too, I don't enjoy watching them at all especially recently.

Did I say that I prefer Chinese dramas over Korean ones? It's only that I like the Wuxia genre and they have it a lot in their dramas so most HKC dramas that I saw are the historical Wuxia type and I don't know if you're okay with that. I once saw a romance only Chinese drama and it was pretty good but for a newbie like you; I recommend you start with movies to get used to Chinese acting because it's really overrated even more than the Japanese acting if you know what I mean.

This drama was good enough but it's definitely not one of the best or even the good ones; it had the usual Korean melodramatic elements with utterly annoying developments every once in a while.
I think it's worth the trouble if you like birth secrets, obsession and the Korean melodramatic feel; if not then don't waste your time on this.

I didn't have high hopes for this drama but it's surprinsingly very good. The story built up is pretty nice for a family drama but I still wouldn't recommend it to those who dislike the genre "family" because that's all what the drama revolves around.

There's romance but I wouldn't recommend to watch it because of romantic stories because the family part is more captivating.

I saw Lee Seo Jin in one drama and ever since then I've been meaning to watch others but these days I tend to dramathon less Korean dramas and focus on Japanese and Chinese ones.

When I think about it, I am not sure about what drove me away from romance; when I first started to watch dramas, romantic comedies were my favorites but now, they're my least favorite genre. I found out that I enjoy suspense and dark dramas better, anything that has to do with mystery and thriller became intereting to me. It's not that I hate romance but I dislike seeing a romance only drama but if it was mixed with action (like in Cruel City), mystery, suspense or revenge; it became so favorable to me but romance only is something I avoid as much as possible.

No, he's not the second male lead. He's one of the three main siblings in the drama and his charcter is pretty much enjoyable because of his relationship with his siblings. There's no romance interest for him so far but maybe there will be in the future, I only saw eight episodes of the drama. So if you're worried that he will be stuck in a love triangle don't, I am sure he won't.
