Although I wasn't expecting much. This was such a bad sequel to a brilliant prequel.
On the comedy level, it was only fine with few funny moments but the rest was a bit boring. And the acting didn't impress at all.
Well, I certainly expected more than what I got. Of course the concept of Japanese Yakuza made in Thailand got me intrigued and I had those little feelings of excitement. It's not that I was disappointed on that regard but I didn't much appreciate what I got. Not to mention that Takeshi was such a boring character, too soft and kind for his own good.
The action was better than other Thai lakorns and the production value was overall way above other lakorns.
Other than that, the acting was your average lakorn standard. The characters were generally acceptable except that psycho Aiko, I totally skipped her off the charts.
I am not really excited about the next part but I owe it to Nadech. Even if it takes lots of skipping too.
For the record. My favourite comedy drama is Yuusha. rosefae gave the drama its rightful place so it's needless to recommend any other drama although Hana Kimi, Mahoro Ekimae Bangaichi and Legal High are also on my comedy list.
Aside from rosefae72 recommendation I watched all of them. And I agree to them all specially Nodame which I re-watched…
My favourite comedy drama is without doubt Yuusha but since rosefae already chose it. I didn't want to betray my favourite with any other drama :D I know I could've written about Legal High or Hana Kimi but they don't mesure up to Yuusha haha
Oki finally got to read and as usual, excellent review. I have to agree I did find Kanbei was overly idolized…
Well, Taiga dramas do tend to idolise their main character more than necessary but it doesn't reach the point of cheesiness which makes it all good.
I will most definitely watch more of Okada. He impressed me enough to follow him. I already have few films and a drama in mind.
Seriously, Kim Kang Woo and Park Hee Soon ahjussi in an OCN detective thriller? Why in heck haven't I heard of this before? Right, I was sleeping under the rock of Dramaland...
Truly brilliant and criminally underrated. Emoto has amazing acting skills that deserve more attention. It's a shame that such a talent doesn't get enough recognition.
This was an awesome, but all I can think of is how 99% of lhe people I know (including me) HATE Jin Se Yeon and…
It's a mystery, maybe the girl is bewitching them or something? That's the only 'reasonable" explanation or the fact that she has one heck of a powerful agency :D
