I am a sucker of the revenge so I couldn't possibly miss this drama despite the existance of the Medical genre…
We think alike :)

Title Freeze
This is probably the deepest vampire story I've ever seen. It had a slow development but it had its good moments…
Of course I did watch it. A long time ago. I meant it's the deepest Asian vampire story I've seen.

Miike's definitely a genius! He chose the best actor for a role that doesn't require facial expressions.

OMG but will he be able to pull the right expression? Even that role is a challenge for someone like Yamapi Haha

I love the Japanese sense of comedy. They have a distinct way of humour that I completely dig. There are few titles that I haven't seen yet but I will definitely check them out.
Great article Star ^^

What a neatly written article. This is a fascinating stalker guide Ana! I must admit that I cheated and read it in the editorial section way before it was published :D

What can I say about Kaneshiro? What would give this amazing actor credit anyway? The man is gold in both Hong Kong and Japan. He always held a special place because I knew him ever since I was little. He was one of the first HK stars I met and instantly fell in love.
He can do drama, Wuxia, Martial arts, romance, freaking anything. Just take your pick. And he's fluent in both Chinese (Cantanose, Madarin) and Japanese. I love him when he speaks in Japanese. His voice is extra deep and hella compelling.

He's a chaismatic one Takeshi. Manly with great talent to match his looks. I like his quiet presence despite his great fame.
Bottom line, I just love the man and there's no way I would forget him like he asked. Keep dreaming my darling Haha

Person Aoki Munetaka
The thing about Aoki that he really grows on you with time.
At first, I didn't really pay much attention to him but then, I started noticing him around especially with the serious roles he's taken. I also started selecting few shows basing on his appearance in them.
Although he's not leading roles material but he always takes great care of his characters. He doesn't only bring them to life but he leaves a lasting impression too.
I would love to see him in more leading roles though, he can do so well.
I am looking forward to more of him in the future.

I was looking forward to the publishing of this article ever since I saw it in the editorial section. Great job Star!
Satoshi is one of my all-times favourite actors. He's got this glittering in his eyes that makes him quite astounding. It's something special for me because I don't like emotional films or anything that has to do with slice of life but for his sake I watched countless of those. It takes that type of a special actor to make me watch anything he took part in.
I turned to a stalker a long time ago. I only watched three of his dramas but I've seen most of his films.
I hate crying men. I REALLY REALLY do but Satoshi's one of the fewest actors I approve of their crying faces. He looks so natural and so gripping while crying. Not to mention his expressive eyes and body language. He's a methoditical actor meaning he will always get involved in his characters. That gives him the chance of perfecting his roles no matter what's their nature.

I would like to say he's underrated but he's not. In Japan he gets the right recognition for his brilliant acting. He got the prestigious Academy Awards twice without forgetting a combination of other international festival awards.

I've got to admit that I didn't like 50% of his roles' choices but I've got passed that because he's obviously growing as an actor through the roles he's choosing. It's no secret that the actor's true ability is shown through his dramatic performances and Satoshi nails them every time. But that doesn't deny that he wasted his talents on many horrible films (where he was the only positive thing like Miike's Ai to Makoto).

Phew! I believe I written a lot but I won't shut up when one of my top favourites are involved :D

Again, a great guide Star. I would recommend Pandemic, Our Family (when it gets subbed) and The Little House since you didn't include them in you list.

I am currently having PSD because of Bad Guys but only because I miss it. I always believed in watching another drama of the same genre to shake off the feeling.

Title The Last Cop
Karasawa oji-san and Kubota in a detective drama. I am so in! Plus, this looks like it will be more comedy oriented than a serious investigation procedure.

I was barely coming back from a heavy slump when I watched this drama.
It comes from OCN, my favourite Korean dramas' channel. No one can makes crime thrillers like they do. There was also Kim Sang Joong ahjussi amongst the main cast but that wasn't what made me fall hard for this.
Beside the unique concept of criminals solving cases, there was this high level of characterisation, witty dialogues, countless quotes, neat action sequences and even moderated emotional phases.
The cast's performance was pretty darn convincing and the developments were tightly knotted. I liked the many twisted events in this drama even if some of them didn't surprise me.

I really wish OCN would gift us with a second season. We need more dramas like this in our lives.

Review Cruel City
Great insight as usual Rita. I was worried this wasn't up to your usual cup of tea but it's a relief that you ended up enjoying like most of us. Doc's character is easily one of my favourite drama characters ever.

As if Nishijima, Kagawa, Maki, Hasegawa and Ikematsu weren't enough. They had to add the master Kitano, Iseya and even Matsuzaka.
The drama series weren't exactly what I had in mind. They were partially disappointing but with this kind of star-studded cast, I will practically watch anything.

Now, are they seriously asking me to wait until mid 2016 for the DVD to come out. This is so unfair :(
