I'm sorry but have you read the webtoon? If you read all the episodes so far and interpreted it that way then fine but that's not what the message of the story is about. It's about Jugyeon (the girl) who finds self confidence when wearing makeup because she was bullied in the past with her looks, therefore wants to keep her makeup free face a secret. Suho (the guy) finds out about her "secret" but has no issues with it. The "true beauty" is finding confidence.
