You can tell this world is lived in. So much detail was put into the clothing and world. Every character had a complete arc, which was done surprising well without overshadowing the main couple. Normally side characters drag the plot and keep me from the main characters, but no, these characters weren't random. Even the bad guys felt fleshed out. And oh my gosh, the intimacy was soooo cute. And the battles were actually detailed and enjoyable. This is the kind of action I'm after in historical c-dramas. Politics were a little hard to follow at times but solid 9.5 / 10

I have really enjoyed the intimacy between the main couple in this drama. The writing is well done in many ways, humorous too, but I find myself lacking interest during the political moments, which are becoming more common half way through the drama (I'm on episode 17). There are many parties with their own agendas and its not obvious why I should care or who to root for sometimes. I do enjoy political dramas, but when we know someone within the scene / given someone to care about. Nobody is going to spend five minutes watching randoms yap without being bored. Just my personal preference. Still a 9/10 drama for me, would recommend

I really REALLY enjoyed the premise, but as I continued to watch I feel like I was baited into something that never fully executed. Many times there was promise for action or real drama, like that one episode with a cliffhanger, but they defuse situations before anything can happen. I am left empty even though the main couple and their domestic life is very cute 😩 At some point the show feels like a giant excuse for that stomach aid advertisement drink lol
