No, I haven't seen it yet. Really, though. There is A LOT of Japanese wtf movies out there! :p Most, though, are pretty bad and are on my list. Haha! You can totally tell by my low ratings for some movies I've seen. Machine Girl though...just was just crazy. I will never forget the tempura scene! Rofl! But I don't want to spoil it so I won't divulge any more! :p

Ok let's see....
House of Flying Daggers, Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, The Returner, Once Upon In China 1,2 and 3.
For some kinda cheesy ones but still cool in a strange and unusual way:
Machine Girl (I have no idea what drugs they were on when they made that movie, but it's horrifyingly funny)
For Bad Boys Only (Might be hard to find)
Tokyo Zombie ( This movie is hilarious!)
Big Man Japan ( Again, if you can find it. It is a parody movie about Japan's most disliked super hero. It's not even listed here.)

I had sent you a separate reply about my favorite Jmovies, but after I hit send, it said it was too long so it didn't send and I totally lost it. >_<
Anyway, I really love the Death Note movie series. It keeps you guessing and has just enough minor differences than the anime so you don't already know everything.
Nana movies because I find myself able to relate to both Nanas. Plus, it deals realistically with modern relationships and friendships.
Sakuran because it's a visually stunning film and also funny in a mature way. It takes a story that's been done before but makes the heroine foul-mouthed, bad-tempered prostitute that does what she wants instead of being sweet and forced to change.

I, too, heard the mixed reviews. Either people loved it or hated it. There was no in between. So, that's what made me watch it, since everyone was talking about it. Since I'd heard both positive and negative comments about it, I went in neutral. However, within the first episode I was hooked!
I really liked the acting of all the main/important characters. I had heard that Suzy can't act, but I thought she was excellent. I did think that the minor side characters sometimes overacted, especially in emotional or grieving scenes, but since they were not the main characters, it didn't bother me and ended up not detracting from the 10 rating I ended up giving it.
The story was really captivating. It's not just one story, either, but two, entwined, with the overlapping themes of fate and betrayal. Also, the main villain has got to be the most evil villain I have yet to witness in a drama, which is saying a lot! :P I think he beats out dude in King2Hearts easily. There's a lot of action, a lot of drama and tearful moments, but also a lot of humor. You will love it or hate it, but I think it's definitely worth giving a try.

Oh I looked at the wrong list on your dramas. haha! I was looking at your plan to watch list thinking it was your completed list . >_< That is why I recommended those. I just looked again, but, yeah. It looks like you have seen all the good action dramas that I have already. :p What about any movies? Are you interested in those, too? If so, I can recommend a few for you.
Ohhh how I love Kim Hyun Joong! <3 All the roles he's been offered before were none "emotional" character…
I agree. He gets judged too much about his lack of showing emotions but poor dude has only so far starred in two dramas and played characters who just happen to not show their emotions. >_< Hopefully, he will get a new role that will
be different. As for Itazura na Kiss, I haven't seen the new version yet, but compared to the Taiwanese version, his portrayal was a lot closer to Naoki's from the anime. Heck, talk about no emotion! The anime Naoki was like 10 times worse! :p
People just need to give the guy a break.

You're welcome. :-)
If you're looking for a good action drama, I would definitely recommend Time Between Dog and Wolf. It is one of my favorites.

THANK YOU!!! I wish more people would be understanding of the fact the poor guy's two lead characters were SUPPOSED to be cold, distant and stand-offish. It was how they were written. Not his fault.

Another one I can recommend is Gu Family Book.
Both dramas had me glued to the screen watching!
