It is Taiwan version of Hana Yori Dango. :-) I am waiting for Gu Family Book to finish before starting it. I don't watch currently airing dramas so I can watch at my own pace but it looks very good.

You haven't seen a drama with Lee Jun Ki? Omg ok. I highly recommend Arang and the Magistrate or Time Between Dog and Wolf. Both are in my top favorites and both are awesome! :-)

Yes. The characters are all there from HYD. NO. The cast isn't better at all. Jerry Yan is not a great actor imo. He's flat out terrible as their version of Domyougi. He is better in the second season I think only because he isn't trying to be arrogant and difficult. Still, I don't think he's a good actor in general.

The other guys are ok. Not awesome like HYD or BOF, but ok. Vaness Wu is pretty good and I like how for once a character based on Akira gets some attention. The Rui character is a bit more boring in this version, but isn't too terrible. Right now in the sequel, he is a little more interesting personality wise. I don't really like this version of Sojiro. He doesn't have the charisma of the other versions and neither does the actor when compared to Matsuda Shota or Kim Bum.

Makino's counterpart is actually interesting. She is tougher, smarter and more mature. I think hers is the only character I might like at least just as much as in the other versions.

Yes, it is. But one of the side effects of his brain damage is the amnesia. It only resembles HYD now in that there is still F4 and still his evil mother. Oh, yeah. It did have a scene where it showed one of the cookies.

I watched the first season and didn't like it. It is long! And it drags so bad. >_< Second season is long too, but it hasn't dragged so far. It is mainly focusing on the amnesia thing, but it's actually not bad. They actually show the amnesia issue a lot more realistically, like also forgetting simple, everyday tasks such as tying shoes. A lot of dramas that pull the amnesia card just gloss over it.

However, it does feel like I am watching a completely different drama and not a sequel or not even a version of Hana Yori Dango.

Oh yeah I am! :-) I finished Hana Kimi Tawain and loved it. :-) Now I am watching Meteor Garden 2. So far I really like it which is surprising because I didn't much care for the first season.

I am doing better now, thanks for asking. :-) I am still having sinus issues but I'm managing it. I had family come visit this week so that's why I haven't been online much.

I am waiting for Itazura na Kiss to finish before I watch it. I am very excited for Two Weeks in August, to the point where I just might watch it as it airs if I can't possibly restrain myself. :p

I LOVE Hana Yori Dango and Boys Over Flowers which is why I'm giving this a chance. :p I also watched the anime, but it kind off went off and got weird near the end and was kind of darker/more serious I think.

I have seen Fated to Love You and really liked it. :-)

With me, I only watch one at a time and only those that are complete and not airing so I don't have to wait to watch the ep. :p

Right now I'm watching Meteor Garden 2. So far it's ok but I don't know if I will continue to like it since I didn't think the first one was that good. Still, I am giving it a chance. What about you? :-)
