My guess, he survive the punishment, but Changge think he is dead, that's why Changge hug him while crying, I think that's the first time Changge show her feeling for him, that's why later he stood in front of the room and smile happily

I think so, Leo is the same age with Song Wei Long (SWL 9 months older than Leo) and Song Wei Long already have 2 dramas with kiss scene, so I think in term of age, Leo is not too young for kiss scene. Unless the manhwa / script didn't have kiss scene on it

the manhwa part that showed up at the early scene of ep 1, there, Changge is even look more girly than the live action part. And the way Changge's behave and how brave she is, I think at that period of time, mostly it was man who behave that way, so no matter how pretty she still look when she dressed up as man, people who didn't know her, still think she is a man. Even the eunuch at ep 1, who gonna presented her with the prize dagger call her : boy hahaha
