I'm confused, I think Changge's mother is the one who report the assasination scheme against Li Shimin to Li Shimin, but why Li Shimin 'kill the messenger'? I just watch 1st ep only though, but could it be that Changge's mother not really dead?
I just rewatch the first ep with eng sub and before that I read about the Xuanwu Gate Incident first on wiki, so when some new person show up, now I know who is he and what 'team' he belong in the Xuanwu Gate Incident. I recommend for those who find the drama a bit confusing, to read the Xuanwu Gate Incident first on wiki, it make all the confusing part fall into place. I think the drama deliberately just glossed over the incident, whether because chinese viewer must already know the incident because is a part of their history and maybe to avoid the drama not get passed censorship because this plot is based on actual history, so most certainly the production must depict it carefully. And I must say, watching it raw is already making me hooked to this drama, watching it with subs? I'm doomed, can't imagine the torture of waiting for new ep. And I'm gonna said it again, please Tencent just aired the drama daily pleaseee.
Only have watched 1 ep, but I LOVE IT. The pace is just right. I really hope it will be happy ending. Looking forward to watch the rest of the episodes available. And I really hope they gonna air everyday instead, I already can imagine the torture of waiting the new ep *sweatdrop
Almost all chinese drama get dubbed, and mostly with VA if the actor / actress don't have a standard accent or they don't have time to do it themselves, because dubbing process happens (when they're filming, usually the voice is not heard that clearly) almost at the last step of editing so sometimes the actor / actress already have other working schedule. And if the actor / actress don't have standard accent, the dubb certainly will be made with VA. And I think the VA sometimes even add more depth to the character than the original voice
It's finally airing, can't wait. I think Dilraba being dubbed by the same voice actress that dubbed her as Feng Jiu, so when I'm watching the trailer, I kinda like watching Feng Jiu again but in fiercer mode hahaha

I always consider TU not xianxia and certainly not wuxia. For xianxia you need to have a god, heavenly father, demon, multiple realm. And for me, Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms, Pillow Book, Ashes of Love, that's xianxia. WoH certainly a wuxia, although YBY is immortal, he is not god, like the one in TMOPB. And because TU has both element of wuxia but also fantasy that's not on wuxia, I thought it best to categorize it as xuanhuan?
