one thing that I like and don't like in ep 36 : when I saw him on screen I was like yipiii he play the right role, can't wait for more of him and Changge's interaction. And then ep 36 end and I have to wait for another Monday to watch 37-42 *sweatdrop* And this drama maker, they really keep Richard Wang's apperance in this drama such a hush hush, I didn't see any pics or clips of his hair make up clothes or anything, and it really surprise me when I saw him show up, boy, he looks good with that hair color and outfit.
And I like it better if it's not comedy. But, it still on my watchlist. Hopefully it will be a good drama.
Agree. The synopsis sounds interesting, until I saw the genre : comedy. Sounds like a mismatch or something. But still, I'm gonna check it out when it aired.

always love Fengjiu & Dijun since TMOPB. Love ELOD too. But for me, The Long Ballad is the best Dilraba's drama so far. I never imagine Reba suit a character like Changge, but she nailed it. I watched The Long Ballad with no expectation at all, just checking it out, but I got hooked, very badly, since the premiere date, everyday, I look for any info, preview, BTS, interview of this drama, beside watching the drama over and over again, and also checking this MDL page of TLB several times a day *sweatdrop*

the one who died beside Changge's mother, was the crown prince (Changge's father) and her 3rd uncle, and all Changge's 5 brothers, and all the soldiers and maids of Changge's household got arrested or got killed. You can read the wikipedia of Xuanwu Gate Incident if you want to understand better of the history that incident in the drama based on, is not 100% the same with history, it has been glossed over, but you can understand better of the incident if you read it a bit, hope it helps
