hmm, I kinda agree. about laughing out loud at conversations where it doesn't suit is a bit ... anyways, jin gu's character, I like it, but confuses me for how great they show his educational background is, his character doesn't show much... I'm not yet to ep 8 but trying to make all character look guilty in pretty much all ep doesn't look good. we all know lds ain't criminal but I wonder why he is so weird, he tryna act bad but fails. I hope they don't mess up the plot..

Well thanks for clarifying the rash thing, about shirley being his grand daughter, i just couldnt match the plot as i recently watched Wrath of time,where they were just about to get married and it would make more sense if they wouldnt kill Hong guniang just like that suddenly,just as i said the last ep of WOT showed that he was kinda devastated hearing of her death and left;to be a priest so i thought he def stayed alone lol...i mean watching the series, i couldnt help but be confused.
btw-Is the story clear in the books? Are the books available online?

Hi, tho i asked above ill ask again since youve watched. In candle in the tomb, shirley already told hu ba yi about the rash, Here she says again which i can overlook but then she says her grandpa is zhe gu shao, But he couldnt marry hong guniang and went to become a priest after hearing bout her death as he was sad, depressed as said in 'wrath of time' so what is it shirley being his granddaughter???
