She even berated the rooster for lacking combat skills lmfaoo Xia meng is pretty and cute, I'm loving her in this drama. I like how Liuxi feels the bond between her and ding liu. Chang dong buying the knife for liuxi, the dialogues, the chemistry between them!!

So was rise of the phoenixes (minus the ending lol) As for why its not trending, i have a feeling, it will slowly rise and will def score high. Imo, it's not that popular yet bc there's no traffic actors in it.
The scene where both of them sat side by side, no words spoken, the ost playing on background.. Is such a beautiful scene. I had a smile while watching it. I like this kind of scenes where the actors express much through expressions than words.
Ding Liu is smart. I like her. Feel so bad for kong yang, and others. The scene where she said its not his fault... Bai Yu's acting is good, showing the complex emotions of chang dong.. Ye Liuxi being understanding of his situation and falling for him little by little is portrayed well.
Ye Liuxi and Chang dong's bickering always make me laugh. They are the funniest. I absolutely love ylx character. So far the drama is very good, it just gets better with every ep. Can't wait for the next episodes!

Ni Ni is a class on her own. Her acting in Love and Destiny was absolutely amazing. The portrayal of both her roles, the many different emotions and expressions is something only Ni Ni can pull. Rise of the Phoenixes was another masterpiece ๐ The range she showed in both these drama's! Chen Xiyuan is not talked about among intl viewers, imo it's the best xianxia. The OST's!! She deserved awards for both her drama's. I watched her movies and liked her so much already, her drama's made me see what an excellent actress she is.
Fun fact: Zhang yaqin of Ancient love song, took notes while watching Love and Destiny (and other drama's). I saw the notes on weibo. Many cnetz said that this drama can be considered standard of acting for fairy drama's as both leads acting was so good and its very beautiful!
