Awesome!!! This year has been amazing! There were three drama releases, many business events, Hi6 and Our Dorm variety shows, several brand endorsements, magazines (ElleMen, Ok!, Lifestyle and now Switch) a music festival (singing and dancing stage!). He is preparing songs for a second album and also filming a drama presently. He has two historicals awaiting release. Now he is making a guest appearance in a modern drama. Wow, Miles is really busy, and as his career fan I am overjoyed! He is steadily moving forward in his own path. Keep shining Miles ❤️

Ahh so there is. I thought he was more like a civil official

Thanks for the list

That's amazing 😍
Hope he wins 🫰
Is it altogether or individual nominations? Were the dramas nominated?

Awesome!!!!
He is beautiful in and out ❤️
I think 4 songs are from his album. Don't know the others but they sounded great in Miles' voice.
The black sequined outfit looks amazing!! That black headband with accessories and the white wig piece looks striking. Gives some kinda edgy aesthetic compared to his usual clean cut style. That's a surprise. Suits him 😍
Oh no injured again!! Does this role Zheng Xi need him to do fights? 🤔

From what I have seen about him, he prefers to be busy. Even when not working he is still working 🤩 Either on a song or fitness training or learning a new skill. I remember he learnt Polo and skiing during brand promotion events.

His voice is just so melodious and soothing and he looks amazing 👏 🤩 🎶🙌
The entire setting looks fabulous!!

Isn’t it great to follow Miles :-))
He keeps us thoroughly entertained with his dramas, songs, dance, variety shows, vlogs and all. Feel indulged ☺️☺️

I have followed him for 2 years and learnt quite a bit about him 😊 I have watched most of his dramas and consider him as a good actor with depth and range. He is already well known as the green flag CEO for many contemporary and modern romcoms. He is getting wider recognition for other roles as well in the last couple of years. He's already played high-and-mighty cowards, rapists/abusers, and totally unstable volatile villains. He himself really doesn't care about the backlash for his roles playing bad guys. He said in an interview that he prefers serious and complex roles and works hard to improve his craft and avoids getting stuck playing only one type of role. His two upcoming dramas are very different from his other roles and so is the one that he is currently filming, all with high production value.
His background outside of acting adds to his charm and makes him relatable. After getting through civil service exams and having a stable job in the elite sector, which I believe is highly competitive and almost a dream which many can't achieve, he quit this ideal world to pursue his dream for acting with zero connections and experience at age 27! And he is making it slowly step by step without shortcuts.
He was also a pop idol singer and Latin dance provincial champion before focusing fully on his television career. Now, alongside his TV career, he is pursuing his passion for music through his songs, having already released his first album last year and working on his second album presently 🎵
He has a calm, mature, and polite demeanor on and off set.He commands immense respect from peers across the Chinese entertainment industry, with dozens of top celebrities voluntarily showing up online to support his drama launches. Many of his projects especially for important roles/special roles/guest roles are through directors and producers recommendation.
Pretty impressive in my honest opinion 😊

wth I can't pronounce it in this lifetime 😂

Excellent! I so wanted him to take on that role. Another S+ production 👏👏👏
Tempted to read the novel

Production special video released by mango yesterday. No subs unfortunately so I can't understand a word but even without subs the teams efforts are very much apparent. Hope and pray their efforts pay off and we get to watch and enjoy a great drama!

🔥🔥🔥
Man may not fall sick but fans will for sure 😜😂

I don't mind if there is no romance plot and if female lead centred. Miles role should be important, prominent and with significant screen time showcasing his acting and martial art skills.
I looked up the novel using its Chinese title. It is highly popular with several reviewers rating it over 9 with even the critics giving around 7-8.

I'm sharing this review from Douban as I thought it was very comprehensive.

Just a heads up about Miles's character which I copied from this review. I think this is a role which he can fit perfectly!

"(2) Zheng Xi: "He doesn't care about what he doesn't care about, this is called 'quiet inaction'""Zheng Xi really has the makings of a male protagonist: noble birth, exceptionally intelligent, handsome, and a mentor to Zhu Ying. Even his name contains the character 'Xi,' which initially led me to believe he was similar to Gu Yun, Gu Zixi. However, the further I read, the more I realized that all his innate sense of superiority actually became his Achilles' heel. His noble birth meant he never held a position of power or influence, naturally aligning him with the elites of the capital. The concept of hierarchy was ingrained in his very being. The reason he wasn't as obnoxious as Xian Jing and his gang of brats in the book is because he was so high up in the hierarchy that he felt indifferent to everything." Before Zheng Xi's appearance, the author spent a long time building up the story through his travels. When he finally appeared, he was indeed a brilliant and charismatic figure, exuding authority without anger. He was the youngest Minister of the Court of Judicial Review (it's noticeable that the author quite liked describing Zheng Xi's appearance; he was a handsome man in his youth and a handsome old man in his later years), dressed in a red robe, full of vigor and ambition. He was Zhu Ying's first mentor in the workplace, and their early interactions were quite endearing. Zheng Xi even gave Zhu Ying her given name and courtesy name. When Zhu Ying went to court, Zheng Xi personally presented her with her court tablet. He even playfully pinched Zhu Ying's cheek. Then, suddenly, Zheng Xi had an eldest son. Looking back, Zheng Xi truly raised Zhu Ying as a son—a lively, intelligent, and endearing child. He had no romantic feelings for Zhu Ying. Throughout the story, Zheng Xi appears more like a political animal, everything revolving around politics. Even if he knew Zhu Ying was a woman, he wouldn't fall in love with her; even if he had feelings for her, he wouldn't marry her. Refined self-interest, aloof and superior. Such a person, therefore, ultimately met his end with a court report announcing his peaceful death. As I write this, I suddenly realize that the people Zhu Ying knew were dying one after another, but the degree of their relationship varied.."

From what I read, this kind of female centric, historical political stories with no romance plot are rare and highly anticipated by netizens if made into a drama. If the scriptwriters get it right and with good direction this could be a potential epic!

Awesome! So Bttc end of the month? Hi6 usually broadcasts when the drama airs? Can't wait!

Good grief! What happened to these fans!! Poor guy seems shocked! Getting that close to take pictures and videos is so terrifying and disrespectful. His fans used to stand in an orderly way during Feng Buqi shooting and wrap fan meet. Very unlike usual Miles Wei fans. He is still very patient! Hope he gets a breather..bless him!!

Thanks both

Very nice to know!

I guess he is keeping the later half of the month for BTTC drama promotions if as rumoured it is airing on 27th.
Is Liu Xiening coming to Hi6?
What is the business photoshoot?
As always, looking forward to his new songs 🎵 🎵 🎵

I just love their pairing!!
Sweet&cute romcom and the only teacher-student romance I approve of 💕
