OMG, finally found a way to watch this movie. My heart sank seeing people suffering and dying by their own country men bullet. Lovely people of South Korea. So glad it got liberated. Military control countries are sad.

I am not from Korea. After watching this movie, make me very curious what actually happen in in Gwangju May 18, 1980? How it started? What are the student fighting for? Who is the bad party? How it ended? It almost sound like Tiananmen Square Incident. I am not from China either. It is sad that own people killing own people. It is all about power and money. Government cover up the truth. . It takes educated young scholars to bravely voice up and fight for justice. Got the outsiders attention and help.

A must watch movie. True story

I have to put this aside. Will come back finish it other date. 40 episodes is way too long. There are other drama I am interested in right now, “Defendant” and “CLAY”. I love JCW and NJH. NJH match well with any male leads.

Looks like Korean women binge eating when they are stress. Kim Woo Bin is so handsome. Please don’t take anymore sad roles, it is bad for health. I want to see you happy. Suzy has a cute face but acting was awful.

Agreed. Should let PSH do the sword fight in MOA. It would be more fun to watch. I have seen her done kickboxing, muay tai, judo, Taekwondo before. She is very sporty, talent and versatile. Not many actress can do that

Love it. The main lead Ye Jin and Hyun Bin stole my heart. I am watching several other drama at the same time (W, Producer, The King Mornach, Emergency Couple, Flower Boy Next Door, 100 Days my Prince,, Chicago Typewriter) none of them make me want to binge watch. The Director also film this in beautiful angles. Many beautiful scenery. There aren’t any boring scenes. So glad I finally watch this drama.

Funny the guard was Crying watching “Stairway to Heaven” on first episode. Who don’t cry watching that drama.

This remind me of a while back start seeing American-like Hong Kong movies like “Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon”. The effect, stunt and the big production received much Western attention. Subsequently seeing movies with same director Ang Lee and same casts. Many beautiful effects but lack of deep tradition value.

Have a few big laughs. Have not have this big laugh for a while. Fell asleep once at the beginning. Whatever, just watch it for fun. .It is on Amazon Prime
