I have some kind of trauma when it comes to brothers, sisters, and best friends in stories. Whenever a relationship in that direction starts going well, something awful happens and one of them turns evil. I keep trying not to get my hopes up when watching a C-drama like this, but somehow, every time, I still end up disappointed. :/ :D

To be honest, I hardly believe that the mother wanted him to treat his son like shit... For me, none of that is an excuse... of course he had bad experiences etc.... but still, you don't treat a son like that... apart from the lashes, I mean (I think he really just followed the wonderful rules) but everything else... I don't know, I think instead of crying, when the father dies, I'll unfortunately only feel relief... oh, and in my opinion he's hardly better than his brother...
Second couple slayed the show in the second half when many would have lost interest due to storm alliance arc.…
Yes, true words, and I have to admit that the only death that really touched me in the final episodes was the death of the young Emperor of Jinxiu Kingdom... :/
Ahh, I was trying to get ready for it.. Honestly, this time I kept telling myself days before that it was almost over... And this over and over again... And now? I still feel empty :/
Definitely one of the best CDramas I've ever seen... And what I like best is that you can watch it every now and then again :)
Oh, and I don't find a single minute boring, didn't even have to skip... What would have been boring in the Storm Alliance Village Arc was definitely 100% made up for by 2 SUPPORT ACTORS... <3 It was just part of the story and without this arc it probably wouldn't have been nearly as good^^
Respect to all the other actors too though... Fantastic performance!!
And!! Siblings can do it differently! They don't always have to kill each other, as you can see:D

hmm. Well honestly, I was really scared to start because of all the comments... but what I found weird is this really bad rating... Oeo if only for all the stars it would be higher... that's why I started it today and watched all 3 episodes... And I have to say, it's not that bad.. I have no idea, either I'm too old to understand the way many people here think, or there's something wrong with the rating system and the comments here... Of course it already has a few features from a Western series, but that's happening more and more often today, and it actually fits quite well here^^ So far I find it interesting. The story itself is easy to follow. It's not really a new storyline, but I didn't even have to fast forward or do something like so many people here supposedly do... Well, to each their own, but I would say really give them a chance :)

Just watched... and I thought the beginning of the 6th episode would be bad... But when he started barking for his "siblings", I couldn't.. cried until the end of the episode... Worst shit hey... I think I react twice as emotionally because I always have to remember that there really are such poor children somewhere who were whined, beaten, etc. My heart is really broken in the last minutes of the episode... and I hate Dex.. I hope he gets the right punishment for that...
