I wonder if Ji Sung's character will be similar to Shaun Tam's character in Brutally Young (Hong Kong drama). In that drama, his character followed the rules more so out of fear than a true desire to do good because he was afraid that what he did in high school would be discovered.

I hope so as well. I would love to see how the story plays out if this was the case.

I was thinking the same thing, particularly with the orphanage and the kids held captive. I guess we have to wait and see if the ML will favor the ML in Mouse or the ML in Awaken.

I really hope this is what happens in the show.

I could be overthinking things but I think it’s interesting that Ryu Sung Joon never clearly states that he didn’t kill Baek Ji-Eun. In the courtroom or when his brother asks him later. He acted shocked but didn’t say “no.”
